It was raining and hail too. It was a nice blazing hot day until the rain poured Quick as a viper you know how Colorado weather is. From the door exiting Sprouts to the bike rack out front it went from dark cloudy Sky's black as night but calm as could be to pouring rain with treacherous hail pounding everything.
I went to sprouts to buy food for dinner. I hadn't intended on stopping by Pannera š. I didn't want to ride my bicycle in the hail storm though. My phone battery was dead to boot. I ran to Panera š.
As I entered I asked the woman behind the register if if it was okay if I just kind if sit quietly and charged my cell phone while the storm passed? She had a very welcoming attitude and said sure absolutely come on in and have a seat! she also pointed to the specific areas of the dining room where I can sit and my cell phone cord would reach the wall outlet.
Keep in mind this entire time I had my grocery bag from Sprouts as well as my drinks that I bought there as well. There wasn't a real bennifit to my being there except the assumption I'd be back to by.some bread again. (I will defiently do this) The storm came on so quickly. by the time I walked out Sprouts door and made it to the bike rack out front I was being pelted with marble sized hail stones.
Sprouts did not have any area where you could sit down and enjoy the day, eat a snack, charge a phone ECT.. This visit was the first I'd noticed at this particular store. And most they don't have a cafe area or any place to sit down.
So I trucked it through the hail and sat at Pannera Bread for about an hour. There were 3-4 people of various age groups just studying , doing homework, using WiFi and charging their phones. These people kicking it just like me! I didn't feel outta place at all.
Although I did not order anything to eat it did smell good and I know they had good lemonade and iced tea because people were talking about it tasting great
They had very friendly staff. In addition to my interactions with the cashier. I noticed the manager he was very well-dressed and seemed extremely happy. I overheard a conversation about scheduling an hour's and somebody was just wanting to trade with somebody else and somebody else wanted to pick up an extra shift. The managers response was very understanding and he said as long as we got it covered do what changes are nesseary and handed over the newly finished schedule.
I've also worked a little bit of the restaurant industry I have personally experienced a much different attitude from my manager. It seemed as though they had a very strong staff here and they worked well together.
Restroom was very clean. A very large dining room. For a rainy evening my experience... Just a ton of good vibes really good energy flowing through the place it was a great experience. I really loved it... Thank...

No structure for pick up orders used to pick up orders down the way from where you order now you go down there and 3 customers standing there looking very frustrated that they standing their and both employees working don't even look at all busy definitely working with no urgency and making a point to not make eye contact with 3 customers waiting finally lady standing there say hello one employee looks up says "what" lady asks for butter he says "hold on!" Finally brings some butter after more than a minute goes by. I ask as he giving lady butter I need to pick up an order he says with a smirk on his face "ya you have to go to the front where you order to request pick up" so go back to front 4 guest in line to order. Only 1 girl working front counter as 3 employees walk by doing nothing all look miserable to be there. Finally after waiting for 4 guest ordering I get to front tell girl I'm picking up order "I need to see your order" so I show her my phone she very slowly walks to go back and look order was just sitting there slowly walks back hands me food says nothing, no have a nice day thanks for coming in nothing. Terrible staff management needs to be fixed to fix a staff that cares nothing about being there any one of the employees could have easily went to go grab pick up order that was placed as was in a hurry thus is why I ordered ahead of time but will never come back to this place absolutely terrible service and attitudes thanks for the experience and showing me where not to bring business too will definitely let everyone know don't waist your time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went there today and had a strawberry mint, charged lemonade. A few hours later I was headed to the bathroom canāt seem to come out. I think I got some kind of food poisoning. I think the Panera and Colfax in Colorado Mills seems to be excellent. But a few times Iāve been to this store. Itās been quite disappointing! And then today I got sick. I realized I got sick there last weekend as well. I think they possibly need to take their charged lemonade machine apart and sanitize it. Obviously thereās some contamination there. Girl who makes the drinks the first time I was in there about a week ago was a little bit rude. I didnāt say anything about it just brushed it off, smiled, and made a compliment. I would like somebody to contact me to discuss this further. It seems the other Panera stores Iāve been to are OK at least the Arvada store on Ward and 64th seems to be good and as I mentioned, the one at Colorado Mills seems to be OK. The fact that, their food is overpriced at all locations average sandwich, is about $15. If you customize it the add-ons can be expensive. I think Iām not going to go back to the one on Wadsworth in Arvada. Like I said I got sick the other day from this and...
