Compare Foods of Asheboro — Local services in Asheboro

Prices are way too high compared to other stores in Asheboro, the place smells like rotting produce and rotting meat. The employees dress completely unprofessional !!! I couldn't tell who was working and who was just another customer , no uniform, no shirt with the Compare Foods logo on it . The manager or owner was yelling at stock boys for no reason saying they didn't have any common sense ! This is no way to treat anybody the employees were just young teenage boys who didn't deserve to be spoken to that way! How about having some patience and treating people with respect. I WILL NEVER SHOP IN THIS STORE EVER AGAIN AND I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE NOT TO SHOP...

They are very Shamy up in here. I asked what do I need to do to get a card or at least have a card associated with this purchase? Little black haired girl was very clear that she run a card and it was taken care of well you have to take that at face value because you pay and then get your receipt and I paid at least twice as much as I should have. I had no doubt that they would not be helpful at the front desk either. I guess the way they figured they get more money that way. I really didn't appreciate it Chaka Face. Would have given zero...

Store was clean and fairly organized. Not much clutter in the aisles. I did have some difficulty finding a soda aisle. Prices were ok. I could be mistaken but this place seemed to cater to a more ethnic demographic because I saw a lot [more than other similarly sized grocery stores] of imported/foreign products. The cashier was nice. Despite only one register being open, checkout was fast. Definitely going to shop here again when in the area and I might go out of my way to visit this place on grocery...
