Asheboro Public Library — Attraction in Asheboro

This has always been my favorite library & probably always will be. I have been coming here since I was 11 years old when my father got me my first library card. My daughter loves it there, they have a great selection of childrens, preteen & young adult books. They have tablets for games in the childrens area & even toys to keep kids occupied while you look for a great book. They have all the best book from the best authors. I've never not been able to find a book besides one time & even then they borrowed it from another library & had me pick it up there so I could read it & not have to go somewhere else to pick up the book. This place is amazingly convenient, well organized & very greatly stocked with the beat titles. I cant wait for the pandemic to be over so I can take my daughter back & let my 6 month old son enjoy it for...

This probably has to be one of the worst libraries ever it's non educational.... Never ever been treated like I did today employees treat parents like their stupid and won't leave them alone this place isn't what it use to be my little boy was upset that's ok because this place sucks highly wouldn't recommend not too kid friendly as it seems the employees are bulli to younger kids my little boy was traumatized by one of the workers they're unprofessional I'll make sure someone from cooperate finds out too horrible place my son just wanted to fit in and enjoy story time he got excited then they'll call CPS over a parent that scared my 2 year old and one of the employees yeah traumatic for my son !!! Y'all should be ashamed of...

This is a very nice library. However, staff needs to remind parents of little ones to be respectful and quiet in the main library. They should also remind the parents of the children's area. Twice this week, while trying to take tests for my online classes, children have been very loud and disruptive in the main area. Today I was in a study room and a small child kept running to the door of the room and yelling. Three times! I finally opened the door and the mother got the child. Unfortunately, I had ran out of time on the test and didn't do as well as I could have. I understand we want to encourage children to read, but it's a library....
