Came in for lunch, there was one couple sitting at the bar, I was actually super glad it wasnt packed at lunch time. I couldnt figure out where the hell I was supposed to pickup my food, never seen a layout like that. I was so excited to see a decent resturant in Asheboro, I got a half po boy and chowder for lunch, I was extremely disappointed in the sample sized items, I would have loved to have more than 2 or 3 plastic spoon fulls of chowder, 2 or 3 plastic spoon fulls of potatoes and mini sandwich. (Slaw inedible for my taste, but also same amount) The food was fresh, the potatoes were bland I stopped at timesquare and grabbed some ranch. In the south that slaw is an abomination 😆im sorry but im with the other guy it needs sugar and vinegar and it would be amazing, its kind of just cabbage in mayo water. The clam chowder was definitely different, very glad to see it on a menu daily. Grill 584 in burlingtons clam chowder is by far the best in the triad and you get a large bowl for $5.50. I couldnt imagine paying over $10 for a bowl of soup. The half po boy was so small the lettuce and tomato over shadowed the shrimp and sauces that was on it, I was happy with the amount of shrimp that fell off the bun though, seasining needs something. Not bad, but not memorable. The most amazing part of the meal was the freshness of all the ingredients, and what was supposed to be hot was hot and the cold was cold. Prices are pretty high for the lunch special, honestly if you would just include a drink I wouldnt mind paying $16.95 for that "lunch sized" portion of food because of the quality. Second off wow, I've never seen a restaurant owner (other than sir pizza burlington) argue with customer reviews. If anyone hasn't seen sir pizza burlington reviews its a must read 😆 I will definitely be back to this location and hope that when I bring my spouse it is just a good as when I went by myself. I won't opt to eat in because of the bar seating and my hip and leg issues, I'd definitely advise trying to get some or tables in there to accommodate people with physical disabilities. Parking was interesting as well, but there was no crowd, so I had no issues. To everyone complaing about the waitresses shucking your oysters, atleast youre not having to do it yourself!...

We asked how long the wait was and the response was 45 minutes and they would text us when the table was ready. No issues there and we knew the 45 minutes was actually an estimate. When we went inside is when noticed there was an issue. Tables at the bar,(which there is limited seating) were cleaned and empty up to 10 minutes waiting for person texted to arrive back in response to their text message. This of course is pushing back the people on the list even longer in their wait. 20 minutes later, this occurred again.. This time it was people I had noticed went to Leos earlier. Now dont get me wrong, this is great for the people they are holding seats for but not for the people who are waiting. After one hour, I asked how far down on the list were we. 6 groups still in front off us. I commented it has already been an hour. We went across the street to get a drink while waiting. Remember the seating is at the bar. 45 minutes later and still no text so we just decided to eat where we were at. Your sarcasm is indicative of the point I was making. But let me help you out since you seem to have a reading disability. Today, we still have not received a text for our seat. Are you still waiting on people to show up that was in front of us? Put a time limit on the response time to text. Or.....if I write this with a crayon will you be able...

There were only 10 or so people in the restaurant Ordered right off drinks and a Dozen raw oysters Our waitress apparently went on break after we got our drinks and we did not get our oysters for at least 30 minutes if not more We did not know who are waitress was at that point because another person shucked our oysters and did not ask if we needed another drink or did we want to order an entree We then had to seek out another server and order. Ordered and waited another 15 minutes to get a fried oyster salad with no dressing and was told that they did not have the dressing I wanted, by the way was recommended, and was not sure what other dressings they had. Finally another customer said they did have the dressing and another server got involved and got me the correct dressing my boyfriends food did not come out do or another 15 to 20 minutes so my food was definitely cold because I was trying to wait for his food Another server came by and apologized and said she would discount our meal and give us free drinks My boyfriend ordered another drink and we finished our meal. Got the check and the only thing that was not charged for was one drink. Our bill was $98. Ver y disappointed what a rip off for what we got I even went to the restroom and there was no toilet paper in the dispenser Will Never visit this...
