So over several years I have spent probably well over $10,000 between moving to other houses an just up grading my furniture. I have bought several dinning room tables. Washer an dryer. TV. Four bedroom suites. A couch. And even a painting. An my girlfriend has an active account as of today. I have regularly recommend people to shop there. An I have had stuff come in a little late. They love to say " two weeks an should be here" but not always the case an I fully understand things do happen. But we ordered a table on February 24th 2018 an we said as long as it comes in by Easter we will be ok...they assured us that was not a problem at all an that it will be here in two weeks. Well today is Saturday March 31st an I had a terrible experience with kimbrells like nothing I've ever had to deal with. I called them today to ask why over a month later an one day from easter I still have no table. The lady was nice an understanding an wanted to help. But after a few times on hold an a few call backs they said the table was there but they couldn't deliver today because they were booked. An it was my salesman fault because they didn't book it to be delivered an that the person was on vacation. But yet they went on vacation on Tuesday an the table didn't come in until Thursday???? How can my salesman book a delivery if they are not there!!!!. So I ask to speak to the store manager an I was told they were on break an not at the store. I asked for them to call me an after a while I called back an was transferred to a guy named OMAR who claimed he was the store manager an I started to tell him my situation an why I was upset an why was my table not at my house after well over a month of waiting. An if the deliveries that was being made today was over a month or are these people that have only waited "two weeks"...I just figured the table has been there for 3 days an I have been waiting over a month. But good old OMAR was a true loser. He was just pure disrespect!! He told me it was my salesman fault an he didn't care an I just had to deal with it or come get it myself..which I would have loved to but I have no truck!!! That's why I asked for delivery so I asked him as a manager he should have stepped up an got the product out. But I could tell this guy was a real winner. I was very shocked someone like this could be left in charge of a store. I doubt he has a high school diploma. But I have over 15 people coming an I have no dinner table for Easter dinner. But I later find out he was not the store manager!!! A woman named melanie was store manager. Now at this point my girlfriend is calling an she gets ahold of this woman an she said she was very nice an she would do what she had to do an we got our table. But my buddy OMAR is a complete joke!!!...I would fully expect he got fired for acting like he did. I mean just the fact he lied an said he was store manager when in fact he was a sales associate. An how he said he didn't care an we would have to just deal with it an wait for our salesman to come back...I give two stars because the Real store manager deserves at least that much for helping an coming threw an saving my Easter dinner for me an my family. Read moreI have been a long term customer with Kimbrells in Asheboro. (Over 10 years) I've purchased many many items from there, been in the store plenty of times over the years. I've never met anyone not eager to make a sale, anytime I have went in except today. I haven't been inside in a while, a little over a year. But everytime I have went in previously, I've been greeted and asked if I could be helped with anything or looking for anything in particular. Today, I wasn't even sure anyone was in the store until I came closer to the counter and seen two women sitting together conversing, disnt pay me any mind at all. Infact, Noone spoke to me until I came up to the counter and asked if someone was going to help me or not. I told her I was looking to purchase two dressers at the least foe my two older children and was interested in a couple other items but wasn't sure about then as I was the dressers. I handed her a sheet of paper that I received in the mail thanking me foe being a loyal customer and letting me know I was able to add on items up to $2,000 without my monthly rate increasing. She told me judging by that paper it sounds like I'm a long term customer and will probably need to renew my application. She looked up my account and confirmed that I would and then stated "but you'll have to do that tomorrow because it's 6:59pm and we close at 7:00pm" I get it, it's closing time and I didn't realize what time they closed because I hadn't been in on a while.
My thing is, I walked around the store for 20 minutes at least. Had someone walked up to me and greeted me and found out what I wanted then we could've started the application process on...

I hope I am able to contact person from above, Kimbrells at Asheboro, NC, ladies upfront, I am very upset how my order has been handled and way you guys treated my family today is unacceptable !!! I was patient to wait 30 days to receive my partial , broken order, but you guys can't stay 10 min after for a drop off for your company not delivering product as promised, without making faces !! I request through this review for overhead to please call me, I am very, very upset and if you want to grow as company, make sure staff is trained with well customer service, there is more to this terrible expierence!
