The Asheboro Farmers’ Market — Local services in Asheboro

Not many vendors this time of year but may be more foot traffic on Saturday. But I was still able to buy acorn squash fresh corn and tomatoes. Lots of different types of squash which I like. Also collards and okra..actually there was a good variety of beans and peppers. Also a vendor selling fresh pork with different cuts from his farm. It was certainly worth the stop..plus the cantaloupes smell fragrant unlike the grocery...

Small farmers market. They even had local honey ( which is exactly what I was looking for). The one thing I learned is that some of the stands sell out early and we're closed by the time we arrive at 0930. Next time we'll be there when they open at 8am to be sure to get the home made...
