The food is ok for my taste but it’s not bad. I’m sure many people love the food. They offer both sweet and savory. I find their style of baking to be different from my favorite personal preference but if you like their way of cooking I’m sure you’d love it. I’ll explain.
I bought an Oreo cheesecake. I like a much firmer texture from a baked cheesecake. The one I received was delicious, don’t get me wrong but it was much more softer and creamier; if that’s the type of cheesecake you like I’d recommend this. Almost like a no bake cheesecake. I assume this was baked, but it is very creamy.
We bought several cookies. I can comment of the consistency of one and that was the black and white cookie. The outside was a golden brown and the inside very soft—almost “Cakey”. Again if that’s what you like in a cookie, this is for you. I personally like a crunchier cookie so if you like crunchy I wouldn’t recommend it.
The desserts we purchased were extremely sweet. Nothing light. The cheesecake was very heavy but sometimes that’s what you want hahaha!
The atmosphere was ok. No different from any of the other businesses in the area. The staff was your normal friendly and nice and we were in and out quickly. The decor is nice. They put a lot of thought into it. I liked it. So did my children.
Now from the other things I saw, the savory dishes didn’t catch my eye and that’s only because the pastries with spinach and cheese and things such as that were just in a display case not in a warming case. They looked like they would be good served fresh from the oven though. I prefer my savory pastries to be hot and fresh. I’m not sure if you can order something fresh. I did not ask. They had a large selection of teas. They also had cold food such as chicken salads.

Read moreLet me just say that firstly, the staff here is so welcoming! They were quick and knowledgeable about the tea selection and the owner suggested a combination of Earl Grey and Lavender as a latte-it’s delicious and will definitely become my favorite! I also ordered a macaron, truffle, farm chicken salad and croissant. Firstly, as someone who is a Francophile and has traveled extensively in France—-thé croissant is amazing! It reminds me of sandwich au jambons on thé Montmartre! Thé macarons are light and fluffy with the perfect crack of meringue and the truffle was #chefskiss! Now for the farm chicken salad-I am not normally a fan of chicken or tuna salads because many are not done well and are not seasoned but this farmhouse chicken salad is a MUST! The salad was seasoned with fresh herbs and scallions and the chicken was shredded-not chunked. You can tell that the owner/chef has a trained culinary background and has traveled the world regarding food—each one of the items I purchased was divinely delicious, soup comforting, and took me back to Paris ?hard to die it’s local food). I definitely recommend stopping by for southern hospitality, terrific teas, and a delicious dessert or delicatessen item that was created for a palette that...
