A couple weeks ago my husband and I took a trip to Ashville and we found this cute little store! They were having a sidewalk sale on a Sunday and I really wanted to give back to this community after all they had been through.. BUT.. I have never been in a store where I was followed closely ( and I mean like 2 steps behind) by a young girl, watching every move we made. Did we look like thieves?? Not sure about that but I am sure I have NEVER stole nothing in my life and I’m not gonna start at 52! I told my husband obviously we were not welcome in your store and we would never come back in there! The sad part is I didn’t see anyone else being watched and followed around.. what was it about us that she decided we needed to be watched?? We had our travel clothes on so maybe we didn’t look like we had enough money??🤷🏼♀️ not real sure...

Sadly we only make combined over 100K a year, and you need more than that to purchase anything in this store on a regular! Read moreI love Lilly Pulitzer’s bright colors and I shop on their website quite frequently. We were in Asheville for the afternoon, and I wanted to stop in a real LP store. The store was bright and beautiful. The sale associates were so snobby and didn’t speak at all. There were only two other customers in the store as well.
