Second Hand Rose Kids Consignment — Local services in Ashland

I recently visited the location on 23rd St and have to say I was very shocked. There is a man working there who called himself Matt, a thin man with a bald head. This man was one of the most repugnant individuals I've ever met in my life. First when I entered he didn't even acknowledge that someone came in even though he was literally 5 feet from the door. He glanced up from his phone for less than a second and went right back to it. As I browsed around I noticed he was making inappropriate comments and the girls working there seemed visibly uncomfortable with what he was saying. He was commenting on the appearances of women and making suggestive comments. When I bought my purchase to the counter I felt very uncomfortable with the way he was looking at me, it seemed like he was undressing me with his eyes and I felt very disturbed by this. This sort of thing is simply unacceptable, how is this man allowed to be working at a store that sells mostly women's clothing? He's vile, disgusting, and I don't feel safe or comfortable around him. I love the store and I've been shopping there for years, but if I walk in the door and this man is in the building I will turn around and leave, I refuse to be made to feel uncomfortable...

Came in twice today. First time I asked what the return policy was because I wanted to grab a few pair of shoes for my daughter but wasn't 100% sure that they would fit. In a very rude tone the lady answered "this is a consignment store we don't do returns". I brushed it off and brought my daughter back after school to try them on to make sure they fit. She had to use the bathroom so I asked if they had a restroom. The same lady was here (gosh I hope she isn't the owner and talks to people this way) she answered something but had her back turned to us and we didn't hear her well... When I asked her what she said her reply was "Short answer is no" in the same rude tone. I'm not coming back. I don't feel these are unusual questions to ask in a store and her being so bothered to answer questions is repulsive. Just an FYI consignment stores DO have return policies usually. Pretty sure they did too the last time I was here.. they're nothing bizarre.. typically something like 24hrs with tags still attached or something like that.. ya know, that way you can shop for a child or loved one without them being there to try everything on. Awful...
