today was trip 50 to this store in the year we’ve lived in the area and also the last. My home is covered in my finds from these booths. It’s not a new habit, I go around once and look at everything and then go around again to get anything I want. There were many items I had in my head until we were followed around the store by one of the booth owners. First of all, Fat Sally is a dog. This warehouse is a large space with areas rented to different vendors. Most offer vintage items from toys, records, clothes, books, jewelry, etc. A few vendors include faux vintage junk from China, but not many. Prices are reasonable. No one is getting rich or going broke here. The space is clean and well lighted. Unless the vendor is there, there is no haggling over price. Fat Sally hosts a lot of special events for family outings. They are expanding into a second building so they can start hosting vendors selling large furniture. If you are near, traveling, or staying in Ashtabula then you should stop and check this place out. I wish I would have thought to take pics, but I didn't. This is a large 2 story shop with something for everyone. The owners are fantastic and super friendly. The place is named after their dog, but I will let them tell you the story when you go there.
