So I have a confession - I hadn’t been in School House in many years since my kids were toddlers. I incorrectly remembered their inventory being for younger children. After trying to literally fight through the toy aisles at Target this week, I left empty handed and went to School House. I was frazzled, overwhelmed, and defeated from my prior attempt at toy shopping. Staff helped me SO much - literally helped me go down my list, suggest age appropriate toys, and give me a tour of the store highlighting best sellers and toys my kids may be interested in. Toy shopping the last few years has been a source of anxiety for me. My kids give me boring lists. The items they want they play with for a day or two and then are over it. Read moreI enjoyed my trip to School House today I had my 7 yr. Old granddaughter with me. She had her own money that she earned doing chores at home. We checked out the whole store 1st. Then went back to look at thing she was really interested in. What I like is that their products(toys, books, games, etc.) Are fun & educational. She picked out 2 things that fit her budget and could hardly wait to get home to play. I have shopped for yrs. At School House when I owned and ran my state licensed Day Care for 17 yrs.. Read moreI took my 2 1/2 year old grandson for story time and a craft activity with Patty. She did an awesome job keeping the children interested in the stories she was reading. All the little kiddos had fun showing how creative they could be designing their flowers. It was awesome that Patty had the items all cut and ready to go with excellent directions and encouraging them for showing their talents. He looking forward to learning about bugs...
