I am not one to typically write reviews (good or bad), but I was SO disappointed in my experience today. I have shopped at Image some over the years, and stop into the store almost every time I am at Epps Bridge. Today, I went in with my mom and daughter to look for some clothes and shoes, as I am about to return back to work after having a baby. We were the only people in the store the entire time--neither of the employees greeted us when we entered. We browsed around the store, passing both employees multiple times, and not one word was spoken to us. I carried my clothes around the store that I wanted to try on, and was never offered a fitting room. I had also picked out a pair of sneakers to try on, and set them on the bench by the shoes with my mom, hoping that someone would offer to get my size--while I showed myself to the fitting rooms, one of the employees walked over to the shoes, picked up the shoe that I wanted to try on (while my mom was standing RIGHT there), and put it back up on the shelf. When I finished trying the clothes on, both employees were standing at the checkout desk, and still did not speak or look in our direction. I hung the clothes up on the rack and we left--what is sad is that I had every intention of purchasing the clothes that I tried on, but I refuse to spend money at a store with such poor customer service. Read moreI purchased a dress from Image Boutique Athens for a vacation I was going on back in July. I loved the dress and had a great experience shopping in the store. After wearing the dress once I washed it by following the tag’s directions (machine wash on delicate/cold water). I went to hang the dress on my drying rack and realized that the dress was falling apart at one of the seams. I had already trashed the receipt because I had every intention of keeping the dress, but because this was still only 3 weeks after my original purchase of the dress I called the store and explained the situation to a sales associate and asked to speak to the manager. The associate took my name and number and told me the manager would either call me by the end of that business day or the next. After 2 weeks of never receiving a phone call, I took the dress to the store and once again explained the situation with an associate, showed her the damage, and told her that I would be perfectly happy with store credit or for the exact same dress if they still had it in stock. Once again I was told I would be contacted by the manager within the next day or two. That was over a month ago and I never received a phone call. Needless to say I was pretty upset that I only got one wear out of a dress that I paid nearly 40...
