They sold me a counterfeit Joyetech eGo ONE, claiming it was authentic, and when i checked the security code it wasn't valid and had been checked for many times, meaning it is an imitation for certain and doesn't carry the 90 day manufacturer's warranty, which is part of why I bought that particular device. I compared it to someone's real eGo ONE and the fake atomizer has smaller viewing windows and other differences; the battery looked identical but lacked the battery level indicator, where the light flashes at different frequencies depending on the battery level. Despite being used heavily for months, the real one far outperformed the fake. It isn't even a good imitation. My boyfriend and i returned to the store with this undisputable evidence, and the owner and blonde female employee were both very rude and dismissive to us. The ditzy, incompetent, un-knowledgeable blonde suggested it was a clone.... i did not pay $80 for a clone. A clone would have been sold to me as such at a much lower price and would not have the Joyetech name and logo on it, and be closer in appearance and performance to the product it's a clone of... this is clearly a counterfeit product. The owner refused to even look at my evidence, and still insisted he got it from the manufacturer, it's real, end of story. When we wouldn't accept his lies, he told us to leave rather than give me store credit to replace it with a genuine product, which is what I paid for. I only asked for store credit towards purchasing something that wasn't fake, and he could have resold the unused fake to someone else since he doesn't care about anything but money. This leads me to believe that none or few of their products are genuine. When I got home i decided to check the Pro tank 3 I had bought there that was just stolen, and it too was counterfeit. The security code wasn't even the right format. But at least that one was under $20 on sale. Shame on them for passing off cheap imitations as high end vapes and charging outrageous prices, and when confronted with evidence, refusing to make things right with a longtime loyal customer. I will no longer shop there and will warn others that they sell fakes for more than other stores sell the real ones, and provide terrible customer service with zero backing of their products and insulting treatment of (formerly) loyal customers. There are several helpful, knowledgeable, friendly employees I have dealt with there, including the one who actually sold me the ego ONE and didn't realize his boss stocked fakes, but the rude, incompetent blonde girl and despicable owner who stocks fakes bring the...

Hello..Well I went into modernage five months ago and maybe it was just a bad day because I put up a bad review because of my experience.So today I was in town and ran short on my tabacco (ohm)so I decided to try modernage out again.This time I got a completely different experience!!It was pretty good!I pulled up a little before 10 caught the guys getting ready to go in and ask did they carry my brand?"Yes sir we do" I was happy bc couldn't find it anywhere else.When I walked in the young man had my bag at the counter for check out bagged up and ready to go.... honestly night and day. I was so impressed I called the owner and told him about my experience first time and this time.He listen and more or less apologized about my experience and I told him I would remove my review.Guy seems to be Kool if not I would not have removed the review..now I have read some of the reviews of other customers.Not making excuses for the owner but if your looking for certain products you do have to use correct wording when buying certain items hint hint...now I paid a bit more than expected it's a little cheaper at the store I usually shop at but I was out...in the future if I'm out I'd still give modernage my business..guys last thing...go in with a positive attitude and things might turn out differently? HANDS DOWN THE BEST SMOKE SHOP IN ATHENS!

Awesome selection of juices and they even have a nifty little iPad to help you out with your flavor choices. I do miss the days you were allowed to test the flavors, but that isnt their fault (changes in laws ban that).

The staff is..okay. They are friendly, but a bit patronising. Especially if you use a zero/low nic juice. While i was quitting smoking, i used the patch combined with a zero nic juice in a vape. But when i asked for their zero nic options, it was clear I was being a bit judged. It wasnt until my bf asked about grinders and pieces that we were taken seriously by the staff and received some helpfulness. Plus, the guys working seemed more concerned with chatting than helping us until it became evident that we were there to spend a good bit of money.

When i purchased my juice, i was given the wrong stuff. Luckily i caught this before leaving, and given the flavor i was given was one I had asked about, it wasnt the one I asked for. When i brought this up with the guy who rang me up, he blatanlty blamed me and then the rest of the staff made it a statement to point out that there wasn't a 0 nic option in what i wanted so they just gave me one of the flavors i was asking about (instead of what i asked for). They let me swap it for a flavor similar in the same brand.

Overall, Modern Age is legit the best smoke shop. They have a massive selection and are super helpful once they realize you're there to...
