We purchased a catnapper sofa from Kinderâs which is not even two years old and has already broken twice. We are middle-age adults who do not have small children, and we take good care of our property. Itâs ridiculous to buy a sofa that cost more than $2000 and canât even make it two years without breaking twice under gentle use. When we try to get it repaired, it takes weeks to months of chasing Bree in order to get repairs completed or parts ordered. We get a variety of reasons as to why such as âshe is off todayâ or âsheâs on vacation this weekâ or âsheâs on a callâ. We leave messages and ask for a return call, but it rarely comes or if it does it days or weeks later, so we have learned that we have to call on a weekly in the hopes of speaking with her once every 2-3 weeks. When we are able to have a conversation with her, we get more excuses such as âThe repair guy is backed up for weeksâ or â he only comes to our area once a monthâ, or â thereâs a $15 shipping charge for that part and Iâve been waiting(for a month) for you to tell me thatâs OK to orderâ, or âI ordered it weeks ago and havenât received the invoice, the part usually follows two or three days afterâ. (That was two weeks ago-it seems odd to receive an invoice, but not a partâŚdonât they usually come together?) So when my husband called today, June 12, and was told yet again that she was not available, he left a message asking for a call back. He then contacted Jacksonâs in Cleveland who manufactures Catnapper sofas to see if we could go through them to get our couch fixed. They told him the motor for our couch should have been received by the Athens store on May 19! After waiting two more hours for a response from Bree, he called again andâŚyou guessed it, she was not available. He then received a TEXT from her that the part is in and ready for pick up. When we picked up the part, the post mark confirmed that it had been at the store for nearly a month while we were told it hadnât come in yet.    Read moreI purchased a recliner for my husband exactly 7 days ago today because he had back surgery and was not able to sleep in the bed. I purchased a Catnapper power lift to help him get up and down out of the chair. Problem is once we got it home and he started using it the construction on it was not good, very unstable, not enough padding in the footrest, major gaps between the back and the seat, the heat feature is horrible, doesn't heat up even enough to feel it, it actually sound's like the wood is going to crack.It makes alot of cracking noise as it reclines.. We called today to see if we could, NOT get a refund, but to exchange it for something more sturdy and comfortable and were basically told, we were stuck with it, they won't take it back. I try real hard to support small local businesses because I am not a fan of big box stores,but when something as simple as an " I'm sorry the product didn't meet your expectations, what can we do to help?" goes a VERY long way. That's the way I like to shop. When I had questions, I would find a sales floor person and asked my questions. They were very knowledgable when answering. Then they left me alone to browse. There was no "sales" pressure. I loved that. They're prices were the best I found. The manager, Pat made color and style suggestions that were EXTREMELY helpful. I showed her a picture of my room and she helped me see how certain items in the store would compliment what I already had. Kierra made the sales transaction quick and easy in such a pleasant, professional manner. Bree and Kierra called me promtply about the delivery details.
