O'Reilly Auto Parts — Local services in Athens

Purchased windshield wipers on April 15th the sales associate on my receipt Paul seemed to struggle putting on those blades at the time. A few days ago the passenger blade came off. A new one was ordered. I went into the store today to have the new one put on. He had me to check that the wipers were secure before leaving. Side note: I drove 45 mins prior in the rain without passenger wiper.

On the way to Tyler for a medical appointment the same day as he put on my passenger blade, my driver blade comes off during a flood I feel Paul sabotaged my driver blade on purpose. So evil. I am a caregiver for my mother with Alzheimer’s, and if I would have had an accident and gotten killed who would have taken care of her. Paul didn’t care. He was only thinking of himself.

I would never recommend buying wipers from ORiley. It’s sad that this happened.

Fortunately I was able to go to the Tyler ORiley where they are smart enough to know how to be professional and competent enough to put on windshield...

Oh My Gosh! I'm so impressed with these guys! Tangie, in particular, was so very gracious and helpful. She helped me find shocks and had them in stock the next morning at 7:30. Then, I was looking for a small little retainer clip for a magnetic brake assembly. A part that costs less than $2.00. She couldn't find on with O'Reilly, so she called around town and found one 10 miles away at another store; not O'Reilly, but another business! I'm so grateful for her delightful nature and her desire to go above and beyond. This is a wonderful quality that is rarely seen today. To her manager, DON'T LET HER GO!! GIVE HER A RAISE!! Over and above service. Shout Out to Mr. Waylen, Athens, Texas. All auto parts stores were closed except O'Reilly's. I heard a whining noise at about 8:00 p.m. I live in East Athens and drove to 2 closed auto parts store and then to, Praise the Lord, O'Reilly's was open. I went inside, explained the whining noise and that I believe that it is the power steering fluid. And wala, just as I thought Waylen filled the power steering container to the line hey!
