Where do I even begin. The first issue was that she was not properly trained on how to wax legs. The lukewarm wax was applied to my legs and then she attempted to forcefully pull it off with multiple strips. Of course this is painful and left my leg still hairy. I now have one smooth little spot on one of my legs and the rest still hairy. Then she used a cotton ball and some ACETONE to try to get it off. I had to tell her multiple times to stop. They don’t tell you how much anything is. I blame myself for not checking with her a second time about the cost of my gel pedicure, but it’s just poor business practice tonight tell people what they are paying for. And the prices were ridiculous. The spa pedicure was 25, but adding gel polish made $45. That is insanity! Almost double just to have gel polish? That makes zero sense especially when I can buy the same exact gel polish from the store right now for $10. Then they tried to charge me for having longer nails, again something I was not aware of when I got there. It’s already unfortunate to have to find a new nail tech after moving to another city, but to have this be my first experience getting my nails done in Atlanta it definitely leaves a horrible taste in my mouth about the type of business is that the city offers. I will never be back and I hope that they take this into consideration the next time a new customer walks...

Went here today for a gel manicure and pedicure. While I was sitting in the pedicure chair looking at colors I saw one of the technicians, Na, start to reach for the nail color swatch in my hand so I told her that I was still looking at the colors. She proceeded to snatch the swatch out of my hand and gave it to another customer that just walked in and told me that she would give it back when she was done. I discussed this with the other manager Megan who didn't seem to care much but did apologize for the incident. If you're looking for good customer service go elsewhere. There are too many nail salons in the area to settle for one that doesn't treat all of their customers with respect. Amazing nails is the absolute best nail salon in Atlanta in my opinion! They do incredible nails and are very professional. I have gone in without appointments during busy times and they always squeeze me in. The nail technicians here are experienced and their work is highly detailed. One of my biggest concerns is having my nails done at a sanitary salon, and I don’t even have to question that here. All of their tools and supplies are fresh, and the salon is very well maintained and a beautiful and relaxing environment. I highly recommend Li (sp?) for a manicure and Lisa for a pedicure, as they did my nails for Valentine’s Day/my first day of work and I loved the result.
