I shopped here last Halloween and had a wonderful experience, which is why I came back to patronize the business. When I arrived, there was a young lady at the counter who greeted me and asked what I needed. I told her what I was looking for and she proceeded to help me. As she was helping me another associate screamed at her to check out a customer at the register. The young lady told her that she was helping me but the other associate said that she didn’t care, she would help me and instructed he to cash out the customer. The lady then asked what I was looking for, I told her and she walked away. When she came back, it was something that I didn’t ask for. She then proceeded to tell me that the costume I wanted was $40 and was I sure I wanted to pay that. I told her money was not a problem and that I came to purchase a particular costume. She again walks away. The lady that was helping originally return to help me out, she even went the extra mile to text the manager. The other associate comes up to us and says “don’t put anything in the group chat, you know ….. will be mad”. So unprofessional! I went to the store recently to check out their “Halloween stuff” and I actually find it ridiculous how much they charge for such cheap quality merchandise. I saw a white long sleeve pirate shirt for over $65 mind you I’m not gonna wear this stuff again. This is just for a costume. I can get a whole package pirate costume at Spirit Halloween for under $65 I’ve been to this store a few times and I leave with nothing every time. The prices are way too high for clothes that either have already been worn or just straight up poor quality clothing/accessories and before I get verbally attacked by whoever is running this account (I’m assuming whoever “Cal” is.. since they left their own business a five star review which I also find ridiculous and extremely unprofessional), this is just my personal honest review.. and if you as a business can’t handle criticism, I would highly suggest you guys find another profession there is no need to act this defensive the second you start receiving negative reviews. Please don’t even respond to my review just acknowledge the fact that your business is receiving poor reviews for a reason. Human to human don’t waste your money or time at this...

This store is an amazing experience! I highly recommend checking it out just to see how a store should be run - the staff are engaging, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and the selection is great. I went in looking for a wig, and after having shopped at other great stores I came in with no expectations. Instead, I had Stella greet me immediately in a way that made me feel like I belonged there, and then I had the luck to have Jeda give me the layout of the store and a rundown of the wigs. There's no ego or attitude here - when I had some trouble getting a wig on, Jeda called over Dani to help, who then really helped me figure out what I should aim for without trying to sell me on anything. Jeda and Dani set the gold standard for what retail employees should be - smart, knowledgeable about the store and what they're selling, and, most importantly, kind.
