Pizza was meh. I got the veggie. Not much flavor and definitely not worth $12.75 for a small 9in (which is really about the equivalent of like two regular slices). Also, I hate when places have hidden "automatic gratuity" charges. They don't list it anywhere on their menu, no signs in the store, and nothing on their website. They don't even tell you when they give you the total, I just happened to realize my small pizza was nearly the same cost as a medium and I double checked if they put in the correct size she said yes. I asked if prices had changed and she said no that there is an automatic gratuity added. If you're going to upcharge people, you need to make it known and add a disclaimer or just change the prices. It's shady as hell to just tack it on and never say anything unless questioned. That being said, the employees are friendly but I wouldn't come here again. There's much better pizza in Atlanta with transparent pricing (if you want thin crust NY style, Glide Pizza is the BEST). 2.5 stars for pizza rounded up to 3.

The pizza was really good. I came for the pizza and stayed for the pizza. One friend and I ordered 1 medium sized chicken florentine pizza. This pie had chicken and spinach on it. I forget what kind of cheese, but I will post a pic! Perhaps one of you fromage connoisseurs will know. The pizza crust was very crunchy yet soft; the chicken and spinach well cooked. I had no complaints. We also ordered the red pepper sauce which was just the right amount of creamy and spicy. I noticed that the spiciness of the sauce was not overpowering, nor was it too liquidy, a great compliment side sauce for the pizza we ordered. We also ordered a salad which was fresh. The service was fast and friendly. I did notice that the restaurant is pretty small, so just know that. We went on a Friday during the afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. I would definitely come here again! Oh and the 1 medium size pizza was enough for me and my friend to comfortably stuff our faces with 3 slices respectively. With the salad, our total came up to about $20

I have been coming to Savage Pizza since I was a teenager, first with my parents and now with my own teens since they were small. The pizza is the best I've ever had, and the staff has always been super cool. However, I'm not sure who this supposed manager Mae is, but she is extremely rude.

The last time we visited, my best friend had an issue with her pizza, and they corrected it. Tonight, we returned with my son, who loves it here. I ordered a small "no brainer" pizza and a large cheese pizza. I was tired and didn’t even realize I paid almost $50 for it. My best friend ordered hers separately, and when we sat down, a large pepperoni pizza and a large cheese pizza arrived. I thought the large pepperoni pizza was for my best friend, so when Mae walked by our table, I said, "Hi, I'm still waiting for my personal pizza."

She rudely replied, "No, you ordered a large." I told her I didn’t. Then she reached across the table to take my pizza and said, "I'll just make you the personal pizza," while still insisting on what I had ordered. I told her to leave it, that it was fine, but I knew I asked for a personal pizza. My best friend and I were talking, and I expressed my confusion about my order. Mae walked past our table and said, "You don't have to keep talking about it; I can redo it." I replied, "I'm not talking to you." She responded, "Well, I’m talking to you."

Mind you, my son was sitting at the table, so I bit my tongue and let it go. She mentioned that the last time we were there, there was a problem with one of our pizzas. It doesn’t matter; I spend good money here and enjoy it. If something is wrong, I should be able to address it without receiving smart, unnecessary responses. Mae is rude and very unprofessional. How dare she disrespect me, especially with my son sitting there?

Savage Pizza will always hold a special place in my heart, but if she is the so-called manager, they definitely need someone else. She is not personable at all. I hope the owner, Jay, knows how she is treating...

I went there yesterday and ask for a well done pizza instead they burnt my pizza and didn't want to remake it my salad look terrible.. I was so disappointed after all I invited my friends there to have lunch with me because normally it's so good. this use to be my favorite pizza place in Atlanta but the manager here was so disrespectful and didn't want to remake my pizza the way I wanted it.. and no restaurant should make a customer feel like they can't make there food the way they like it. I ask him to allow me to speak to the owner regarding his disrespectful behavior he said no which no restaurant should refuse this information to a customer especially when they are unhappy about there service...the manager told me in front of customer he will not do anything about my pizza this was what I order.. I said I'll never come back here to eat again he said don't!! I will not ever go back here again and this is the one in little 5 point...very rude manager and I called to report the issue I still have not heard from owners after speaking to Kate from other location said I shouldn't have been treated this way and I should be receiving a call from owner still no call..considering I been a customer for years always bring my kids there on the weekend.. however later that day that pizza made my husband sick he vomited I was displeased with the way I was treated and someone need to fire the manager before he runs all the good customer away with his in professionalism I have the video it will go viral if I don't get and apology from the owners for being rudely...

Terrible experience. My husband and I were hungry and ready to hit the road after a long day in atlanta. We wanted to get take out but hostess told us it would be faster if we sat since the kitchen prioritizes the sit down orders first (???). Otherwise, she informed us it would be up to 20 minutes. We said ok, we will sit and wait and eat here. We placed our order we waited 20... 30... 40... 50 minutes. I asked our server to please put our order to-go since we were ready to walk out the door without it at this point. He said it is almost ready. Great. Comes back to the table after dropping the check and says, "the kitchen broke your pizza. Do you want to wait for a new one?". After the amount of time we waited, to not have it ready at all felt like a sick joke. 1 hour and no pizza???? So out of extreme frustration and hunger, we opted to leave without speaking to a manager or waiting for a new pizza (who knows how much longer we would be stuck sitting there). I called about 30 minutes later to let a manager know how frustrated we were, after all it was my husbands birthday and he was less than pleased. Apparently there is no manager there after 4pm. All in all, sad experience, will never go back, and will probably not care enough to call and let the manager or "acting manager"...
