This was my first time. I got a mini facial (I believe it was 25-30mins). The ladies were friendly. The aesthetics were 10/10 for sure! It was clean, and smelled good inside. My appointment was for 3pm. I arrived around 2:45/2:50pm and checked in. Elvira did my facial. She was OK. I've had facials prior, and this experience was total different from any service I've ever had. Although she was gentle with her techniques, there were some things that caught me off guard during my visit.
There was a misunderstanding from another guest, which made my aesthetician slightly flustered, and it showed during my session. I was NOT asked nor did she review my paper work to confirm any allergies. That question didn't come up until after she started touching my face and adding products. I had to stop her and tell her my allergies. Which is a huge red flag because NO service should've began until basic information was confirmed. I have a latex allergy soo that could've been a MAJOR issue for them and myself. She didn't use any steam, and steam is usually essential when administering facials. I had to ask her where to place my items while receiving my facial. I wasn’t offered the weighted blanket or white sheets for more comfortably like the other ladies. I wasn’t informed on the products that were placed on my skin during my session, unless I asked. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good facial experience like the other ladies who attended today. However, I would give them another chance, and definitely try another aesthetician. Over all I would say 7.5/10 for...
Read moreAfter thoroughly reviewing the site, I booked a mini derma with hopes I’d actually get that service. Upon arriving, nice ambiance, however, once getting comfortable was told they ran out of blades and that the esthetician wouldn’t be comfortable doing the service without the correct blades/scalpel…. First off, I would hope not! I strongly hope nothing other than proper tools involving my FACE or others would ever be used! Graciously, I was offered an enzyme mask which would remove dead skin but not hair and peach fuzz. I wish it was expressed when offered that I wouldn’t be able to wear makeup for the next 24 hours, otherwise, I would’ve declined and left considering the ONLY reason I came was because I had an event that evening and wanted my skin to feel and look great for the event. Highly frustrated because I don’t want to mess up the effects of the service I’ve paid for but I also would like to enhance my look to go out. As a mom, there’s only so much free time I get, and this was supposed to be easy to do and enjoy my event later. What a disappointment and waste. In the future I’d hope the person booking is informed what services are able to be provided when accepting bookings and the estheticians communicate clearly after care beforehand. Felt like a money-grab and just so so...
Read moreI visited Face Foundrié last Wednesday. Upon arriving, there is a visitor's parking lot. I called ahead and they mentioned to bring my ticket, as they validate your parking. The validation is for 1.5 hours, which was pretty good. To get to Face Foundrié, you can either get on the elevator and go to lobby and out the front door or walk out the visitor's parking lot and take a right and then another right. Once I entered, I was greeted by Erin. She was super nice and helpful. I scheduled with Duaa, but my esthetician for the mini facial was Ashlin. She greeted me and walked me back to the facial area. The aesthetics were minimal, sleek, and clean. I loved how they provided a weighted blanket during my facial. This helped me to relax a lot. Ashlin went through a series of steps and talked a little throughout, just telling me which step she was moving to next. I also added extractions which was a nice addition. Once finished, my skin was so glowy and hydrated. At the end, Ashlin showed me the products she used on the product display. I then checked out with Erin, she gave me chocolates and a water to go. I definitely look forward to going back again in the future. Thanks again Erin and Ashlin for your great...
