Who would actually think that they would have a blast at a goat farm? Honestly, I didn't know what to expect, but for some reason I was super excited about going to the Goat Farm. I'd missed a previous opportunity for me to go to the Goat Farm but I had absolutely no intentions of missing this time. I'd read that there were live goats on the property, hence the name Goat Farm. But I was absolutely impressed with the service and the way the venue was set up. As I pulled up, I saw a sign saying only residents past this point, which I was a little surprised that people would live out there. But actually, if it had not been for the mere fact that I saw a few goats on my way in, I wouldn't have known that goats were actually on the property. The event was in the Edgar Allan room, which was very easy to find with the signage. As I entered the room, I immediately forgot that I was on a farm. The room was actually so nice and comfortable. After a few drinks, I began to enjoy the Goat Farm more and more. As I continue to mention, I am a country boy, so I would love the opportunity to just walk around the Goat Farm and view the entire property and see what it has to offer. After what I experienced the other night, I am sure this place has the potential to become a serious entertainment venue, for private events. I would love to have a...

Every corner held a secret, every brick a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. In the midst of decay, there was beauty to be found, a reminder that even in endings, there lies the promise of new beginnings.
As I bid farewell to this relic of the past, I carried with me not just memories, but a profound sense of reverence for the untold tales that dwell within its walls. It was a fleeting encounter, yet one that left an indelible mark upon me, a testament to the enduring power of history and the...
Read moreThe Goat Farm seems to struggle with purpose and identity, calling itself a "unique, hip, center for artists," seems a bit off, suggesting a destination for tourists and weekend seekers of something that simply just doesn't exist. Basically, those is a dilapidated factory repurposed for art and photo studio rentals, that is occasionally open to the public.
The goats are gone (I think), and impromptu photography on the grounds is largely discouraged, and frankly—let's face it—overused and not very interesting anymore. I believe their revenue source now centers around film production and related businesses. Nothing wrong with that, though the owners might consider installing some wayfinding signage to help establish purpose and reduce confusion and disappoinment by visitors not sure about...
