Great music, great vibes, awesome people and cheap drinks. My favorite place in atlanta! Such an eclectic mix of humans, its perfect for people watching, especially the patio. Don't miss the music, uncle sugar on sunday, lolas open jam on monday, swami gone bananas on Tuesday, Tyler neal on Wednesday, breeze kings play Thursday, Nate Nelson on friday and Bill Sheffield on Saturday. The bands begin at 10pm every night except for Sunday when it starts at 8pm, and early shows on the weekend, 6-8pm. Rotational acts are on the weekends at 10pm and cover is $10, look out for Cody Matlock and Zydefunk! Parking is free in their lot. Smoking is allowed inside and there is a cigarette machine if you need some smokes. There are 2 pool tables, keno and scratch off tickets to keep you entertained if needed. 3 TVs and a jukebox are around if no live music is happening, and if you're looking for food, they have an extensive chip selection, (make sure to eat before). Last call is usually between 2 - 230 and its closed by 3. The bartenders are fabulous. J-Honey during the day, Hank on Sunday and monday night, Make sure to say hey to Mark, Sam and Shelby on the other nights, if theyre not around youll see Rand, Andy, or Nancy. Pj and Magic Fred will be holding down the door on the weekends. Everyone will treat you like you've been coming for years, so make sure to leave a nice tip! One thing about this place is for certain....This place is like hotel California, you can check out anytime you like but you can...
Read moreCan't stress enough how bad my experience was and continued to get after this place. I came down to visit with a friend who took me to the bar to grab a drink and watch the game. After being there for 7 minutes or so and browsing around for what I was going to drink I finally got the bartenders attention. When I finally did I noticed what I would like in the case behind him and asked if he maybe had a different beer by the same Brewers he proceeded to just point at the case and say if its not there we don't have it and walked away. Then when I did finally get him back and give him my order he told me to pay and so I gave him my card which he proceed to inform me that they ran the card only one time. I have read the sign at the bar so I knew this and confirmed my order of 2 beers which was around $12. Since he made this comment I figured he was insisting on dealing with cash purchases so I decided to tip nothing on the card and instead left him his cash tip on top of the signed receipt. Well 2 days later I look at my card statement and low and behold that scumbag of a bartender had charged an additional $90 for his tip which I didn't approved and now I am having to deal with a dispute and being cardless because of this genius's great decision. I honestly heard good things about this place but after this experience I can't say those for myself I wish maybe I had a different bartender the...
Read moreI came here for the first time and as I was dancing with my friend, a white Male with short dirty blonde hair confronted us and told us to stop dancing. He didnt state his credentials, or say anything about being an employee so I got nervous and pushed him away, putting my hand on his chest to create distance. As I pushed away, he overpowered me and pushed forward. It terrified me. I thought he was an aggressive homophobe. just some random customer of the bar. He didnt say he worked there. Only came aggressive at my friend and me. I was worried for My friends safety and mine. Only when he walked and away and I decided to leave that I saw him behind the bar, cross armed waiting for us to leave. He's an employee and can be very aggressive, and is not afraid to be so. When I called trying to express my concern for not only myself but other people... they hung up on me. Obviously concerned about preserving their employees more so than...
