Today was my first time visiting and getting services here. Shade was very friendly and welcoming even over the phone before I arrived. She took her time to consult with me first, she asked my preferences, then gave me her professional advice. She shampooed my hair so well I almost fell asleep, made sure I was comfortable , and wrapped the towel around my head in a way I have NEVER seen before, not a drop of water touched my shirt !!!! Shade is the best and she’s very professional. I have traveled from afar to get my hair styled by her. We first met in 2021 while I was working in Dallas Texas. I arrived at the airport and she made sure I arrived by giving exact instructions on how to come to the salon. The wait was on 5 mins. Fast forward today. I’m here coming from out of state again. Shade did my silk press earlier today and I am very much pleased with my results!! She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. She did my hair in a little under 3 hours from wash, deep condition, blow dry, straighten and done. Mind you I have a lot of thick curly 3c-4a hair that comes down my back (mid back length hair). This usually takes me 5 hrs to do. As far as trimming she only trimmed off what was necesary and showed me the damage that needed to be cut off before she even did any trimming.
