I was shopping with my mom and aunt and had a basket full of items I planned to purchase for my kids when I stopped to look at a jewelry box. Out of nowhere, a staff member came barreling down the aisle and yelled at me just for looking at it. She reached her hand out and said “give that to me right now!” Almost like she thought I was stealing it or would break it?? I was so shocked and embarrassed that I went to the owner, expecting some kind of support or resolution. Instead, I was told that the employee could do no wrong and I was told to leave the store. I am a very lowkey, calm and sweet person and have never been asked to leave an establishment in my life! I have shopped here so many times I can’t count, starting when I was a little girl.

I left in tears and will never return and neither will anyone in my family for that matter. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they’re shopping in good faith. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place if you expect basic respect and decent customer service.

Today, at 3:50 p.m., I visited the store. Like every 15 days, I always go in there after work. I always carry a suitcase with wheels because of my job, and I always leave it next to the cash register. And I always buy something when I leave. Today, for some reason, an employee, I think, didn't let me in. He asked me what I wanted, what I was looking for. I told him what I wanted to see, if I could leave my things while me looked. He said NO! He didn't want to let me in. The cashier, an older person, looked at me in surprise, and I told her I wanted to buy some gifts for my friends. But they didn't let me in, maybe because of my appearance, but I felt humiliated. I don't think I'll go back to the place. What they did is not...

It's unfortunate that some bad reviews were left here, but that has not been my experience. I've been to all of their locations as well as the one that closed a few years ago. Today, I visited this Peachtree Battle location and it was so much fun! All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. An older gentleman was at the register and he was super nice and funny. I love this store so much and could easily stay in here for a good part of the day.
