Lack of customer service skills and lack of cake decorating skills by John (Manager) at Store# 360574, 2335 Peachtree Rd NE, Atlanta, GA. It took him Friday - Sunday, noon to make the Thomas cake (pictured). Very disappointed and frustrated that I did not get an apology nor did I get an offer of a refund or exhange or correction by the manager and by the owner (owner only offered coupons).
Faith Evangelista Update: I spoke with the owner today (4/17/15) and although Mr. Williams apologized, I am still frustrated and dissatisfied. I was hoping to hear of preventive measures that this would not occur again to future customers and was hoping to hear, "We truly apologize for what happened as you were a first-time customer and though we can't take your son's birthday back, what can we do to rectify this issue?" I did not get that answer. Instead, he indicated that the manager was a "young man" who made "minimum wage" and "had no prior issues". This is not an acceptable excuse.
At the least, as a paying customer, I expected a cake decorated in the way that I wanted it, by the date and time agreed upon. This store did not deliver. Ultimately, I wanted a refund which I told the owner. The owner said that he "does not provide refunds to cakes already consumed" and that the best Mr. Williams said he could offer me were coupons (this is only after I asked him for a refund).
By the time I saw the mistake, the party was about to start and when I immediately called the store after discovering the lazily decorated cake, the option for a correction or a refund or an exchange was not even offered to me! I've escalated this issue to Baskin-Robbins Corporate to handle.
If I had a sincere apology and an offer of good faith in the form of a refund immediately after this horrible cake decoration by the manager, I would have been satisfied regarding...

Read moreI went to place my family's order while my parents were in the car, and off the bat the service was great. Absolutely Great! The man who was taking my order was so attentive and so nice. And then (after ordering 6 scoops of ice cream) I got to the counter where I was greeted by the cashier and he was also great, An I looked down and saw that the chip reader was broken (My moms card can't swipe or tap) I wasn't able to figure out what to do, and then the man said "you know, I might as well try to be a little more generous." And pulled out his card, and bought our ($26 worth of) Ice cream. It made our day! Sadly I forgot to get their names, but I was in there at around 8 PM...
