So me and my sister were looking for a good happy hour to take my mom and my cousin too and we came across Roshambo on TikTok and it did not disappoint! Happy hour is from 4-6pm (wish it was longer) and they didn’t have much to chose from but the items that were offered were really good. We got the Brussel sprouts, oyster rocafella, grilled cheese with tomato soup to start and it was all so good! For happy hour, they do offer drinks at a discounted price. So any drink that was $14 was actually $10 during happy hour. I had an espresso martini that was really good. We also had a pitcher of cosmopolitan for $35. That had about 3-4 glasses in it. For dinner we had chicken Parmesan, which was just okay. The flavors were there just very unseasoned. The noodles and the chicken were very bland. Also the chicken wings which were good but they don’t come with any dipping sauce. The Thai chili sauce on the wings were good. We asked for blue cheese and they didn’t have it so we asked for ranch. They tried to make us a blue cheese by mixing blue cheese crumbles in the ranch and it was horrible. Just take the regular ranch instead lol. My sister had the shrimp hot pot which was delicious! It had this creamy coconut flavor that was so good! It wasn’t what we were really expecting but nonetheless, still delicious! For dessert, we had a ‘cookies and milk’ which was just a big warm cookie with cream in the side. I would have thought ice cream would have came with it but no. Our service was wonderful. Brittany, our server, was sooo good! And she had great support because everyone was very helpful. Happy hour time was not very busy at all. She told us that they were busier in the day but typically, around 7pm is when it gets busy. Roshambo,...
Read moreWe were running errands in Buckhead and randomly chose this spot without knowing anything about it - and I can't say enough good things about it! We were seated immediately after walking in around 4:45 on a Saturday. Staff was so friendly and the server was excellent. Seemed to have a neighborhood vibe as we saw people acting like they had just run into each other. Bar had TVs on the game, which was nice, and music was upbeat but not too loud. The food was really good. We had the disco tots as an appetizer - they were delicious but so filling. Hubs had a burger - he said it was good but not the best he'd ever had. I had the hanger steak - pretty lean and tender for that cut. Tasty. The potatoes that came on the side were great - crispy, smashed little potatoes. Loved those! Even the simple salad with the steak was above par. The apple pie dessert left a little to be desired, but was still good, if a little pricey. The two of us spent $95 plus tip, with no alcohol. So seemed pricey for a late lunch but no one dish was especially expensive. Steak was $36. Overall, a great experience and I'm sad we don't live closer or we would add to our rotation! Would make a good replacement for The Shed in Glenwood Park, which we really miss. Similar...
Read moreI've had some good experiences here, but went today for brunch and left underwhelmed. The space is nice and has a really nice feel, but the service and food felt a little flat. I had the blackened redfish sandwich which was good, but wife had the fried chicken and it was just barely ok. The white meat was incredibly dry and there was very little actual flavor to any of it, no salt no nothing. Tasted just like plain breaded fried chicken. If you had told me it came from KFC or Popeyes I would have believed you based on the quality. It's such a prominent point on their menu too, surprising that it was so average.
Service was also very spotty for some reason. Felt like it took a minute to order, never got asked for a second drink, didn't get a water refill until the end, and the food took a good bit to come out of the kitchen. For the price point they are at, I just expected a little bit more attentiveness.
Speaking of price, they have a kids menu and all of the options are $12. $12 for chicken tenders or pancakes or buttered noodles seems a little outrageous.
Anyways, it can be worth a visit if you are in the area, as it is probably one of the better options in that strip-mall, but sadly nothing to really...
