Incredible salon. Blew me away. I had a freak accident with my curly hair that was waist length. I was riding with the windows down, when my hair got very knotted. I put it up, and later got in the hot tub. The hot tub dried out my hair and knotted it further. When my hair dried, it was literally matted tightly to my scalp. We tried different home remedies, but everything seemed to make it worse. We called Soren, and they discussed among the staff what possible interventions could be done. I told them I wanted to try them, and even though it was Sunday, they said I could come in at 5:30 (30mins before close and within hours of calling them with my problem). We used GPS to locate the salon in a beautiful part of Buckhead, parked, and entered off the street to the 2nd floor (over a jewelry store). Upon entering, it was easy to note that the staff had concern over the condition of my hair. I know it looked hopeless, and I was devastated over what may lie ahead...being very attached to my long hair. 2 staff members (an assistant named Aaron and a colorist expert name Rochelle) quickly went to work with few words among them. They spent hours pulling out the mats on my hair. They did as much as they could with the least amount of damage done. During the times that nothing good could be said, there was silence as the stylists worked. They eventually unmatted my hair, but I then needed a serious haircut. It was very well past closing by the time the unmatting occurred so I needed to schedule a later appt. However, Rochelle put a deep conditioner on my hair and Aaron pinned it up safely until I could come back in for my appt. The staff was amazing - kind, generous, supportive...but also, the positive environment among the staff members was easy to note. I needed to come back in at a certain time because I was going out of town. When I went to schedule the appt, the receptionist worked diligently after hours to try to accommodate my desperate situation with a certain stylist. She called us that evening to say that he (Barak) would indeed come in and salvage what was left of my hair. We went back at the scheduled time with Barak. When he saw my hair, he was incredibly encouraging. He ran his fingers through my hair and told me what he thought was best, and he had the exact same ideas that I like for my hair. I am not only grateful for the beautiful job he was able to do on my hair, but the time visiting with him was such a pleasure. He is an amazing person both professionally and personally. He was so interesting, and I am grateful having met him. He did such a beautiful job on my hair that I could barely mourn its loss of length. And when we went to pay, the services were so reasonably priced, in light of the time and effort of multiple staff members that were required, as well as the emergency at hand, that we were incredulous especially for the upscale area of Buckhead. Soren Salon is full of the most upstanding professionals in the business. I am so grateful for them, and I cannot recommend them...

I have to tell everyone about my amazing experience at Soeren Salon with Brian! As someone who has struggled with my hair for years, I can honestly say that Brian has changed my life. I've had so many keratin treatments in the past that just did not work, and I always ended up with brassy, damaged hair after coloring treatments. It was so frustrating and I had almost given up hope of ever having healthy, beautiful hair. I met Brian at Soeren Salon, and everything changed. Not only did he give me the gorgeous, vibrant hair color that I've always wanted, but he also performed a smoothing treatment called "the double dip" that has been a game changer. Since getting the double dip treatment, I no longer have to spend hours styling and restyling my hair every time I leave the house. Even in the worst humidity, my hair stays perfectly smooth and frizz-free. Brian is clearly a true expert when it comes to hair, and he really took the time to listen to my concerns and create a customized solution that worked perfectly for me. I can not say enough good things about him or Soeren Salon. If you're looking for a salon that truly cares about its clients and can give you the hair of your dreams, I highly recommend checking out Soeren Salon and asking for Brian. I am so deeply disappointed in the professionalism and the level of skill encountered at this salon. I came in from out of town and this salon was highly recommended to me for color/highlight and cut. The highlights were orange. No one acknowledged this and when I asked the colorist, Rochelle, as she came by at the end, she agreed and asked I come back to fix. Mistakes happen and I was ok with coming back. I paid $340 for this service. I went in today and she was very brusque/almost annoyed. She put a toner in my hair and I ended up with a shade that looks darker than what I started with and there are NO highlights left. I brought this to her attention and she said I would see them as the toner color fades with washing. She was not willing to discuss with me. I have called the salon a number of times and no response. $340 and 5 1/2 hours later and I have no gray left but I also have no highlights and my hair is darker than when I went in. Unprofessional attitude. The colorist, Rochelle, is experienced and is comfortable in her role and not able to acknowledge an error and not able to actually listen to what the clients want to begin with.
