We came in May to inquire about suits for our wedding in July. We were told to come back 2 weeks prior to the wedding since there would be "more inventory". Luckily, we did not listen to this advice and returned in June. We have came 3 times total. The 1st time we worked with an employee who was very young & tall (unsure of his name but am almost positive every bad review on here is about him). The entire time he seemed annoyed to be taking care of us. This was upsetting since we were excited to pick out the suits for the wedding. My fiancƩ explained he would buy a suit since "we only get married once". Another young employee with curly hair said "unless you get divorced". This was incredibly disrespectful. We were shown the very LIMITED selection of suits. The taller employee stood there while we essentially did all of the work & he just agreed. I was concerned the suit was not the correct size & we were not experienced with suits. He told us it was the right size. I liked the pronto uomo suit which the kid told us is "the cheap quality ones". We then needed help with pants, cuff links, & a shirt. He then ended up selling us a shirt that is not made for the buttons, pants that were too small and long, & a jacket that was comically small. When we checked out, he did not put our information into the system (this made for a very difficult return later on). Once we were home, we tried on the suit all together & decided he needed major alterations. We returned a week later with the rest of our family to be sized for rentals. We were here for at least 2 hours. Luckily, a younger woman helped us. When my fiancƩ tried on his suit, she laughed because it was too short and did not fit, and the shirt could not do the buttons we bought. She tried her best to fix all of these problems (including the return issue since the kid did not put our information in at checkout) and order us new items (we had to pay $24.99 for expedited shipping at this point to fix the mistakes from the first employee). This is now the second suit we had to order in its entirety. I assume the manager (Alex?) helped with the rentals and he was great. He asked the taller kid and other employees who were hanging around doing nothing to measure my brothers and they responded "I don't know how to do that" in a very disrespectful and lazy way. At this point I am confused why any of them are working there since they even said they do not know how to basically do anything. I asked the employees if we could come back next weekend to get measured for alterations considering we have VERY limited time until the wedding at this point after all the issues. They reassured us this would be fine. Now the third time we returned we walked in and the taller kid, who messed up our suit the first time and gave attitude the second time, asked us "can I help you guys?". I explained we are back to be measured. He then told me "we can't measure you today sorry we don't have a tailor". I was baffled. Every person there had measuring tape around their neck. I said to him "I specifically asked last weekend and were told we could come back and get measured". He told me "ya well our tailor just isn't here, he's supposed to be but I don't know when he'll show up sorry". At this point I walked out in utter disbelief. We needed this solved TODAY since our wedding is in only a couple weeks. I called the Framingham Mens Warehouse who instructed me that the Auburn one completely lied to us and that any employee there is supposed to measure us. This was not shocking since this kid had lied or avoided doing his job every single time we have come here. LUCKILY, Greg from Framingham took care of us that day and fixed every single problem. After Auburn ordered a suit for a 2nd time, it was all wrong. The shirt they sold us was for a bow tie not a straight tie (which they knew we were doing), the jacket was too big and the pants too long again. Greg fixed everything within 20 minutes and apologized for Auburn's mistake and disrespect. Now we are on suit #3 that luckily fit perfectly,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTook place 6/10/25 ⦠I had purchased a black suit coat from Menās Wearhouse in the Auburn mall. I let the manager know that Iām buying this suit coat for my brother and I asked if he should run into any issues shall he need to exchange or return coat. I was assured that, as long as he had the receipt, there would not be any problem whatsoever, but was told again to make sure he has the receipt.. Less than a week later we went to return the coat because he bought a different one from Suitmen. A manager who was not there during the time of purchase was on duty. He could not have been more rude. RUDE. I was told that, unfortunately, the manager who sold me the code did not tell me the right information .. As if I was in the wrong the whole time for just trying to return a coat. His exact words were ālisten buddy, itās NOT my problem that you got the wrong information, but you aināt gettin cash back.just get something else.ā I told him that we donāt need any other suits at the moment and thatās all you guys sell here so thereās nothing that we would buy. We just want our refund like we were told. He made a call and came back and screamed at me, āYOU WIN BUDDY, ILL CUT YOU A CHECKā . At this point, I was astonished as to how a employee of a business would possibly treat a customer this way and talk to them like this . I said OK a check is fine. At that point he told me that they wouldnāt be cutting me a check today that it would be in the mail and he has no clue how long it would take all he knows is he heard that it takes . ā A Really long timeā (Iām not sure how he knew it would take a long time when he didnāt even know a check was an option, he had to call someone to figure out they could even cut a check). At this point, I just took the coat and walked left. I understand that people make mistakes and things happen. But all that was needed is a simple explanation of their policy. But to be completely combative from the start, cussing in front of me and other patrons and to put the blame on the customer is just WILD!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was, hands down, one of the worst retail experiences Iāve ever had. I went to the Menās Wearhouse at Auburn Mall to pick up a rental, and from the second I walked in, it was clear that professionalism is not a priority at this location. No one greeted me. I had to walk to the back of the store to find four employees lounging around in jeans and t-shirts, glued to their phones, laughing, and joking like they were hanging out in a basementānot at work.
One employee (Mike, I believe) half-heartedly handed me my suit and pointed to a fitting room, then went right back to the group with zero further assistance.
But what truly crossed the lineāand made me furiousāwas what happened while I was checking out. These employees were loudly making jokes about a friend or coworker āprobably being gay,ā laughing and carrying on like it was comedy hour. As a gay man shopping with my partner, it was offensive, inappropriate, and honestly disgusting. We felt completely disrespected and unwelcome.
To make it worse, I sent a formal complaint to Menās Wearhouse corporate and never received any response. Radio silence.
If the suit hadnāt already been paid for, I wouldāve walked out. Iāll never return to this location, and I strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere if you want to be treated with even a shred of respect
Update to Menās warehouse response.
Thanks for the public replyābut I already sent a detailed email to the address you listed and have yet to receive any response. Itās frustrating to see a comment posted here for appearances, while the actual issue remains ignored behind the scenes. If Menās Wearhouse genuinely values customer feedback, Iād expect a timely, direct follow-up to the complaint I took the time to submit....
