Visited this store on March 22 around 2pm. I bought a fleece top for myself. I come to the register to pay and the lady who was helping is very nice. She tried to get my phone number and my email, still couldn’t find me on the system. I asks if my ID from the app works at all at this particular store in the outlet. She was not sure and called the blonde lady who has her hair up with an oversize claw clip and the first thing she asks me when I show her my Ralph Lauren ID “ thats someone else” since there is my name on top of the barcode. She does not even asks if it was under my name. She assume that it was not mine right away without asking. I am a paying customer and able to pay for my things, I dont know why she said that without thinking. I told her that its me and she does not apologize. She said “ oh it will not work on this store, you can give us your phone number and email” the register lady quickly tell her that she has my email and phon number already when she tried to search for my info in their system. The blonde lady just asked “ you do have american phone number right” I responded “ yes” and left . She was not apologetic at all. I dont know what kind of manager/ assistant manager or even a team lead that does not have manners or is she just racist? If she is a manager or assistant manager of the store since I saw her order the employees what to do. She need to have another training on how to treat an customers despite their races and what they look like. She has multiracial employees and I dont know why she treated me any differently than any other Canadians who buys clothes...
Read moreI had purchased a sweater washed it per instructions and it shrank. It was laid flat to dry. I attempted to return it and explained to the manager what happen. She said it’s cashmere you shouldn’t have dried it. I mentioned I had not dried it and followed the directions on the label and wanted to exchange it for something else or return it. She proceeded to say the tags had to be on the sweater, though I had a receipt. I asked how is one to wear it if you don’t wash it? She refused to return it due to their return policy. I said ok. I shared this with my husband. He went to the counter and asked for the manager. She mentioned the return policy and said we could call their 1800# and she would put that number on her business card. While she was away, we read the return policy near the register. No where on their sign did it say the item had to have the tags on it but proof of purchase was required if the customer was unsatisfied with the item. When she returned, we pointed that verbiage out and she said she couldn’t refute that. My issue with all this is the way she handled it with me versus my husband. It shouldn’t matter who she is speaking with whether female or male and it shouldn’t be different either from the color of their skin. Read moreI originally purchased this outfit for my son. It cost $200. Turns out he didn't like it so I took it back to exchange for a larger size. I ended up getting back $89 due to it now being on sale.
The only thing I did not like was the employee stated that she wouldn't be able to exchange .. exchange.. exchange the outfit without a receipt. I have a real problem with that. Good thing I had them email my receipt to me. I mean it's so easy to misplace a receipt and most stores nowadays can look up a debit/cc transaction. I would think a store of this caliber would be able to do this also.
Update!!! My items had to be shipped from the warehouse. I waited maybe 5 days before calling to check on the delay. I was told that my items would be shipped from Las Vegas. I waited a few more days before calling back as I had not received any email pertaining to tracking/shipping. I spoke with a Manager (Dominique) who was very apologetic. I was told something about my order being stuck in the cloud. She had my order expedited which I received in two days. She also gave me another discount.
