I come to pick up at this location often. Sometimes during a bank holiday there is limited staff or during especially busy times trailers will be put in different locations. This is usually fine. However When I returned to the clerks desk to inquire about the location of a missing trailer, The guy that was manning the desk who was fine at first, Became extremely agitated with me and began using foul language and displaying an unprofessional demeanor. I know at the heart of this was a misunderstanding, but if someone doesnt have the patience or if they are already over burdened with other tasks, perhaps safeway should not put that person in a position where they deal with the public. I left this location without the trailer and with a bitter taste in my mouth, knowing that this negative interaction was not worth recovering. if this continues to be an issue I will not be returning and will inform managment about this interaction.
to the person manning the desk, Im sorry If our interaction upset you and I really hope you are having a better day next time as well as a bit more patience. I will try to...

They have a large staging area outside the gate, don't know if you can actually park overnight, they have signs that say no overnight parking but they don't appear to be patrolling the staging lot. My directions said couldn't be more than 3 hours early. Park first and walk to the trailer opposite the guard shack to check in. After you dock take you paperwork to the appropriate shed for your docks. They'll call with your lumper fee and give you a check number over the phone to register to pay. You must use their number, no paper checks accepted, no cards, no cash. No parking any where nearby. Don't park at the mall, off the railroad, or on WA-18 anywhere closer than Tiger Summit. There's a Love's in Tacoma, super busy. The Mustard Seed charges (last I checked) $27 per 24 hours. TA about 45 mins away on I 90 but also busy and about half of the lot is...
Read moreVery nice at first to come to work here, they pay well, but that's the only pro, cons: staff that have been there treat you like you're under them and the supervisor boards in the produce think there above and beyond everything there. Staff our horrible at training you. they have you slave labor and meet a production percentage that's damn near possible to meet. It's all a shade to think it's this great company but underneath that blanket of "oh we're so great" thats the nightmare. Everyone is entitled and stuck up there. Have attitudes and different groups of people gang up on you for doing your best and telling you your wrong and just put you down. Don't recommend ever working in a place that treats you below. DONT...
