Buyer beware. I could tell you this long drawn out story of how the car salesman (don’t work with Justin) tried to take advantage of my situation with a broken down vehicle but I’ll try to keep it short. They sold me another busted car. The vehicle had sensors going off during the test drive which they said they would fix-and ultimately their service department couldn’t fix the issues. I had to pay off my remaining portion of my car loan balance from my trade in while the salesman I worked with stated he would do it as part of our purchasing agreement (since he didn’t do the math correctly) and he never did. Now the loan company I bought my new vehicle through said they never received my insurance information from the dealership and are going to charge me another $750. It’s one issue after another. Horrible customer service. The GM continued to try to manipulate the horrible situation when I continued to ask to speak with the owner. This lot obviously sells Faulty products when their own service department couldn’t fix the issue. To their credit, the service department tried multiple times to find a solution and the owner was very helpful once I was finally able to talk to him. Oh-I also requested a Carfax a total of 12 times and was never given one. The only saving Grace with this department is Glen in service who tried to help me and treated me like an actual person-which the service team is the ONLY reason I give them any stars.
Update: Finally found out that this vehicle has been in multiple accidents with the previous owner. Makes sense why the owner, manager, and salesperson failed to provide me a carfax after I asked SEVERAL times. ...

I first had interactions via email and text messages. It was a little out of the ordinary bc I had 2 vehicles to trade. Then we talked on the phone. We made the deal, sight unseen for both of us, Derry Smith and Eric at Shepherd’s and my husband and I. We made arrangements to drive both vehicles to Indiana.I was reluctant bc I did not want to put extra miles on either vehicle for no reason. I already did that at a dealer here in NJ. Once we got there they told us that the SRT was not available. I’m sure you can imagine our outrage. Derry Smith assured us that the SRT they had was indeed available. Once we arrived at Shepherd’s, I was already pleased. Derry came outside and greeted us. I’m no spring chicken, have purchased many vehicles over the years, purchasing my SRT from Shepherd’s CDJR, was the absolute best experience I have ever had with a dealership. It was worth the drive. I’ve never done business with someone who was so friendly, thoughtful and caring. I feel like if I lived in Indiana, we would be friends, not acquaintances, with Derry Smith and Eric. Oh and the follow up…Tremendous! They texted and called to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase and to see if we had any questions about any of the electronics or settings on the SRT. I would be a repeat customer. This is how you build your customer base, by being honest, respectful and caring about your clientele. What a great experience! Read moreI had a great buying experience with Brice Hansen at Shepherds last week. I was in the market for a 2021 Jeep Gladiator. They had one in a trim that was close to what I wanted that I found online on the Jeep website but I ended up wanting a Willys in Sting Grey with very specific options I was really set on. Brice went way out of his way to make it happen for me. They went as far as going 300 miles to Wisconsin to pick up the exact Jeep I wanted with a dealer trade. I was extremely happy with their effort to get exactly what I wanted. The buying process was smooth, everything was straight to the point, the best pricing was given, and there was no games played like some dealers like to do. They also gave me a very fair offer on a trade in I had too. Brice had everything ready before I got to the dealer so there wasn’t much to do other than some quick paperwork once I got there. I had a 120 mile drive to Sheperds and it was worth every bit of it to buy from them. I will always make sure I go back to them for future vehicle purchases. I couldn’t have been happier with how I was treated there and with the Jeep I got. I highly recommend speaking to Brice to find your next car!
