I had a ring with a loose stone, so I called the S College location. I made it clear that the ring wasn’t purchased from here, but they had good reviews so I wanted to see about getting it repaired here. The very nice employee I spoke with said I could drop it off for the jeweler to take a look at. About a week later, I went in to drop the ring off. The first employee I spoke to was very nice, and again I said the ring wasn’t purchased here. She said they had a gemologist that could take a look at it, but then another employee came over (maybe a manager?) and said they couldn’t repair it if it wasn’t purchased here. She was quite rude, and even as I started to say I called beforehand and was told they could look at it, she cut me off before I could finish explaining. If you have a policy to not repair anything that wasn’t purchased here, that’s fine, but you should make all your staff aware of that so potential customers aren’t being told conflicting things. In October I purchased two sets of pearl earrings, but I wanted three for gifts. You did not have three sets, but you were kind enough to order from another store. You called me when they came in. I called and was ready to purchase them and have them mailed to me. However, you were going to charge me $23.00 to mail them to me. The pearls were only $55.00 I thought that was extremely high just to mail one set of small pearl earrings. I could drive from Greenville, Alabama to Auburn for the amount it was going to be for mailing them to me. I am so disappointed that first you did not have three sets when I was shopping in your store and then disappointed again when a $55.00 set of pearl earrings was $23.00 more to just mail them.
