I Don't Recommend this furniture store to nobody. After the front cashier male tried to make it harder for a first time eligible customer already approved online he asked, "AGAIN" the so called Assistant Store manager about how a customer should pay and all the things he should have before purchase. Then she/"the assistant manager" changed everything. This young man was already approved by her on his payment plan and online before coming into the store. I heard a very unprofessional Assistant Store Manager who works here than say out loud that she didn't really want to rent my son furniture and laugh out loud about it with whom she referred to as her co worker. Therefore, I asked her out loud about it several times and made her give me an answer even though she lied to my face and said she wasn't talking about him. Yes she was because he was the only one there in the store who the no good customer serving male cashier asked about all the things he we need. Making her do what she said out loud she didn't want to do anyway. Rent/lease to a black male who wanted to be a first time customer. I told him to come on and let's go to another Rent A King in Haines City Florida which is much more better with serving all customers and not giving them a hard time because of...
Read moreWorst experience ever. 17 days past due as of tommorow. My choices given by store manager andreia was to pay by Thursday (tommorow) or return product or it will be turned over to the sheriffs office. She can't explain to me where the amount she's stating that is past due is coming from and countinued to tell me "it's your problem not mine, I'm not late on my payment". Mind you I've had a issue with my direct deposit and offered to come in Friday June 9th and pay payment. I never knew 17 days past due would cause legal action to be taken.
Also I can't forget to add that she refused to give me corporates number advising me that they will only refer me back to her.
By far the worst customer service I've ever received!
Currently waiting on a supervisor to CB. Corporate was very helpful and respectful but agreed that the amount given does not make sense but according to her each store can make rule of there own (which also doesn't make sense)
Long story short..... No where in the contract does it state that after 17 days past due legal action will be taken nor can anyone advise me per contract where the amount they advise me is due is coming from. I am a first time customer so I can't say anything for RAC as a company but I will say this...
Read moreI’m 7 payments into my contract and my card was damaged once I got my new card 3 days later I went in to the branch of Auburndale, FL I spoke with the store manager while getting ready to make my payment I asked the amount he included a 5.00 late charge mind you I’ve never been late I’m set up on auto pay and this one time I’m 3days late he absolutely would not waive the fee. He stated they can’t waive fees but I spoke with other store managers and they do have the autonomy to do so he just choose not to. We exchanged words he was very rude and laughed at me very unprofessional. I called cooperate to file a complaint to see if I could get the fee waived and I have to wait 48hrs to hear back from the regional manager for $5.00 I was planning to get a laptop from them but I’d rather take my business to Aaron’s or another company before I give my money to a company that does not make exceptions for customers whom adhere to the contractual agreements unlike the other customers they have to chase down and schedule home visit to make a payment. I will definitely tell friends, family, co-works and social media to stay far away from this particular...
