I brought my bike in for a tune-up at the end of May and, unfortunately, had a frustrating experience at first. After leaving it with the shop, I didn’t receive any updates or calls for several weeks. When I finally reached out after about a month, I was told that no work had been done yet and that they were very behind. I waited a bit longer and called again, only to find that the bike was still not ready—by this point, we were already into the second month.

Just when I was ready to give up and take my bike back, I spoke with a staff member named Jordan. He really listened to my concerns and assured me he would get the issue resolved. True to his word, within two weeks, my bike was fully tuned up and ready to go.

We were attempting to bring back a kayak that had the receipt and was within the time frame of being returned. The ‘manager’ Sheldon was brought into the situation and we attempted to tell him we wanted to return the kayak. He continued to claim that the kayak was sold with a seat and that we couldn't return it without one. Unfortunately when we bought the kayak it didn't have the seat as it was a display Model and that all we wanted was the money back for the item. He continued to lie about a policy That would inhibit the store clerk to sell the kayak to a customer without a seat but in fact this did happen. I am not happy with the service and I don't appreciate being lied to about services And policies just so the store doesn't take the item back during the covid-19 pandemic. I would give a no star review but unfortunately this rating system...

The value of the items I purchase here are ok. I learned if I want to buy shoes or boots it is a worthwhile experience to shop a specialty shoe store where the staff are knowledgeable in the products they sell. By contrast, this store seems like their only goal is to move footwear off of their shelves without having any useful knowledge of their footwear. At least that has been my experience. For gym equipment I’ll definitely buy here because it’s good quality. For men’s outdoor clothing I prefer reliable materials so I usually bypass this store and go to LL Bean, REI, or Cabelas where they offer a wide...
