I am leaving my original post up but have to come back and just say, this place doesn’t really care about their customers. After my second visit and going home with bloody cut up fingers, sore and aching from the man filing down into my fingers…I actually had to tell him to stop, there was blood coming from my fingers and he just kept going back to the same place and continuing to file. I sent an email and message anyway I could, I tried to call and I got zero response back from any of this. I sent pictures of my cuts and also of the bad job he did on my French manicure. He only used one coat on the main mail before applying the white tips. The mail was “pink” in some places and clear in others. Like a tie dye I am quite pleased with my nails. I had a pedicure and then acrylic removal and layover done with gel polish. I showed them a picture of about what I wanted and explained in detail what I actually wanted and BAM…would you take a look at those beauts. Very happy with the outcome and it was a fun time chatting and joking with everyone. It was my first visit and I’ll be back.

As someone who is strictly gluten free I have a hard time eating out and it requires research prior to even going out. I went online to look at their menu which showed GF options so i planned my order prior to. I got there and was given a menu that didn’t have GF next to any items. When the server came to take our order I told her what I wanted but the green salad that was listed Gf online was not. There is soy sauce in the ginger dressing which i am glad she knew about. I ended up getting the fancy maki roll and a tuna roll. I asked for tamari on the side. A couple of the roll pieces were tough. Otherwise good. I just wish more restaurants were more straightforward with their GF options. There is a huge community of us! Otherwise the food came out incredibly fast, we were asked by multiple people numerous times if we needed anything despite being moderately busy on a Thursday evening. We were in and out in less than 1 hour (party of 2). I would go back.

We visited Kume on our way back from Acadia, and were a bit disappointed to be honest. Our waiter was extremely helpful and nice, but the food took an hour to come out. I understand staffing issues, but we were waiting for a very long time. When the food actually came out, the chicken, rice, and everything except the veggies were perfect. The vegetables tasted good, but were very cold. I was so hungry I ate it anyway. In terms of atmosphere, we couldn’t go 15 minutes without the strobing lights and a techno birthday song. I hope there is a warning on the door for people with seizure disorders, but I did not see one. If I’d been aware of this aspect of the restaurant I wouldn’t have chosen to eat here. Again, I am not harshing on our waitstaff. They were kind and helpful, but there should have been a cap on the number of people eating if the food was going to take that long.

!! PLEASE READ!!!!!! If I could give no stars I would, but had to give 1 star to leave a review. This is the worst establishment I have ever seen. I came into this salon after realizing my normal salon was closed, I’ve been here before and had a bad experience but figured I’d give it a second chance, since I really needed a fill. The salon was extremely filthy, and the owner Amy, was doing my nails and ripped one of my acrylics off while filing them. She then told me she needed to take them all off because I would look better. I asked her if she would be charging me more than the initial $45 (for a fill since I had all of my acrylics on )and she said she wouldn’t charge more. She then proceeded to rip all of my acrylic nails off dry with a plastic nail tip!!! without soaking them off first… I was in pain, and my nails were extremely damaged after. She then, starting buffing my nails with the electric drill and caught the nerves, causing extreme pain. After putting on the tips and cutting them down a bit she asked if the length was okay, I asked her to make them a bit shorter since I type on a computer for a living. She told me she would shorten them a bit after applying the acrylic to the nails. I thought this was odd, but I let her continue as I was too shy to say anything at this time, even though I was MORTIFIED. After applying the acrylic she asked me if the length was okay and I asked her once again if she could cut them shorter and she began SCREAMING at me that it was “TOO LATE” over and over. I began to get anxiety and I just wanted her to be done. She continued to paint my nails and harass me and yell saying” DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT I SAY” over 10 times. I began having a panic attack but tried to stay calm as I was alone. After the polish was done I look at the nails and was horrified about what they looked like, there was bubbles, uneven etc. she did NO after polish acetone, cuticle care or anything!!! She then tried charging me $70!!!! claiming that she told me that i would be paying for a full set+ removal!!! UNBELIEVABLE!! I refused this price politely and explained that I asked her if she would charge me more. And the sloppy job etc. Amy then says “I pay 70 or I call the police” and begins shouting at me loudly..I then began to walk outside to take a deep breathe as I was having a panic attack and then she ASSAULTS me!!!!! She grabbed ahold of me and pulls me back into the salon, refusing to let me leave from the main door.I managed to find an alternative door and ran for safety as I was truly in fear. I called the police!! She’s lucky I haven’t pressed charges!!! NEVER GO HERE!! It is unsafe and extremely unprofessional! This place...

RUDE! MEAN! NASTY PEOPLE WHO RIP YOU OFF!

  • Response from the owner is the same on all reviews: We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. It was an uncommon instance and we’ll do better in the future.

Came in for an acrylic nail fill. Their listing on the wall read $25 for acrylic fill. I jokingly told my daughter that they will probably try and charge me the $40 gel fill.

You have to sign in on a tablet and request your service, then they will seat you. The lady told us to choose our color and pointed to the area where there were like 5 nail polish racks. I had acrylic and was not interested in gel, so I found an OPI polish I wanted. I was finally sat (that day was very busy) and my daughter went first. Before he began, she told him that she wanted the acrylic fill and asked the price. He said $40 (just like I figured). She told him that she did not want gel she wanted acrylic, and he was very upset and said $35. We both asked him "Then what is the $25 acrylic fill? That is the one we want." He got so mad and frustrated, speaking in his language and then said $30 because we also want regular nail polish. So, we said we don't want the nail polish just the fill then, and he refused to come down from the price. My daughter had a bruised finger and told him to be careful please. He snatched her finger, looked at it and took out his phone to take a picture without getting consent! I understand that he didn't want us to come back and blame him for that, but you could have asked to take the picture before snatching her hand! Then he used the Dremel on her finger and filed her nail bed down to where it hurt her so instinctively, she flinched and said ouch. He yelled at her and said, "No hurt!" Grabbed her hand and did it again. She screamed ouch again. He said, "No hurt, you hurt you leave!" Unbelievable!

This place is rude, they did an awful job that I went to get my nails done elsewhere that day! Do not come...

Where do I begin!!!!! I walked in and felt I was a bother and what do you want? I had my daughter and grand daughter with me and had her on my lap while my daughter got her fill done. I was looking at the colors on the nail examples and my grand daughter who is 1 picked one up and the guy told me she shouldn't be playing with that! REALLY! I was watching her and she was just holding in while in my lap for that was my choice of color. Then went to the chair requested a manicure with gel nails. Got to the table and then came the little dremmel to take off my gel from my home town salon. I got burned into the bed of my nails a few times and pulled back due to it. Then my nails got wrapped my grand daughter got nervous for some reason due to the foil she was using on my nails so my daughter came and got her the young man that was the son of the lady doing my nails was like no give her back till your done she wanted her mother! From where I was sitting I could she him agrivated at the fact that she was holding her. I heard him say if they chip its your fault. He said would do another coat not covered good but not with her being held. He kept saying, DAMN over and over and over again. Well back to me my nails were filed and painted no massage no cuticles clean up nothing like a manicure I known of. I got a color change...period! Oh that's $20 what the heck! I paid five dollars less than my daughter who go a fill and gel. He never cleaned up my daughters cuticles either. This place seemed overly dusty and not clean. The containers that the tools are in were being reused on everyone! I hope the buffer wasn't used on the guys toes before my nails! NEVER AGAIN FAREWELL BE SURE TO KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN MADE KNOWN OF THE ATTITUDES, LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND...
