The Paper Store — Local services in Augusta

I went to this store with a friend and when I left, I was followed to the door and stopped by non-LP personnel when I hadn't done anything, so she hadn't SEEN me do anything wrong. She was snarky and impolite to me and said there was something in my pocket; yes, it was an old plushie my little sister asked me to carry around while she ate with my mother at a restaurant. The plush wasn't even something they sold at the store. The woman asked for a receipt and I tried to explain to her that it was old and she walked off, presumably having given up.

TL;DR: Treated like a criminal when I did absolutely nothing wrong. Not shopping...

Paper store is a small but great gift store tucked away in the back of marketplace at augusta near the home depot. Right away I was greeted by a pleasant man who offered to assist me to find items. All employees I saw were busy actively engaged with customers or with each other. Store was packed with merchandise from Hallmark ornaments to Vera Bradley bags. Last year I pre-ordered 2 ornaments and never received a phone call to let me know they were ready to be picked up. My grandson really wanted the Hagrid ornament.
