I would like to describe my time with Geek Squad during the call today. I have had issues with my computer over the past few weeks, getting worse over time. It's an HP windows 8.1 laptop and the issue is the 8.1 on it. Windows 8 was working fine, but 8.1 made some of my applications unable to work correctly. I called Geek Squad because my computer is still under warranty and it should be fixable because it's going to reach the point where I cannot use it effectively. I was expecting them to try and not want to fix it, and I got exactly what I expected. They told me that the warranty only covers physical damage on the computer, and does not count towards any crap that happens from a windows update, which I find complete crap. If I downloaded a virus that broke it, that's one thing, but this is meant to make my computer BETTER and it didn't. Thanks to this whole mess, I have to now go and spend $160 to just revert it back and that's it. At this point, I might as well smash it so that they DO have to fix it, but I won't because that's just being a rude person towards the companies. I just thought that because it's actually making it so I can't play games like say, League of Legends, Diablo III, Maplestory, Mabinogi, Hearthstone, etc, without crashing my computer now, they'd think it was broken. But I guess that's a computer working...

Pc breaks shortly after purchase, geek squad can't help me, I have to ship my pc to manufacturer on my own dime and if anything broke I was responsible. Not exactly what they told me initially. I was so scared I waited another 7 months just so I could do the swap they talked about. I bring in after the first year warranty is up and they send it back to the same manufacturer themselves and it still cost me $100 to ship even though I have your over expensive total tech membership.pc breaks back and forth to service center twice now. I've been without my pc working for almost a year now and these people don't seem to care about your products when they ship them out. Not sure if I'll ever see that pc again but I know one thing for sure. These people are a rip off and don't care about...

Then went they went to deliver they said They need more people to get it done, but would give squeeze us in the next possible date. We were supposed to get that date within 48 hours and nothing. Called 4 times and the only person that was remotely helpful was Heather. But the field people did not even call, respond or anything. 8 days passed with no response or even signs of life. They REALLY deserve 0 stars, because we did not recieve anything at all and they treated us like we did not need the washer dryer we ordered. Never dealing with best buy or geek...
