Poor customer acknowledgement. We were at the front counter waiting to be checked out, no clerk/cashier was there. I looked to the back where I saw Amanda stocking and the other employee was helping someone. We had been up there for a few minutes, really not long but Amanda looked at us turned around grab some more stock to move and put it down and turn away from us a second time without saying a word.... and grabbed more stock, just a kind "we'll be right with you" would have hit our reset button, but NOPE! I'm 6'5"... YOU CAN'T MISS ME and she made eye contact with me twice. We left the merchandise on the counter and walked to Target. We went to DSW to get two pairs of shoes but left Target with two pairs of shoes, two jackets and candy for our grandchildren. Money that you folks should have had. Now you probably wonder how I know Amanda's name, so after leaving Target I went back to DWS and entered and right there was Amanda, an employee and customer. Read moreWe came in tonight for some specific shoes my daughter was looking for 15 minutes before closing. My daughter literally had the shoes on her feet at 5 minutes until closing making sure they fit right and the rude sales lady said, "Is there anything I can help you with? We ARE closing." I said, "No thanks, she's just making sure they fit." Which the lady responded, "Well we ARE closing." I told her it was fine, we would put the shoes back since they needed to close. We left without buying them. My daughter was super disappointed as she was spending her own Christmas money on the shoes. It was 3 minutes until closing time. I guess them getting out of work early is more important than a sale? I'd recommend shopping some place else if you'd like nice...
Read moreI want to give David a special shout-out. While I was checking out, I gave my number for the rewards program and to my surprise my ex was using my number and had changed the address to his. This wouldn’t be a huge issue except I have a restraining order against this person. David was so kind an understanding, he deleted my ex’s info and changed the address to the store address so that he wouldn’t have access to mine. He then gave me a discount on one of the pairs I purchased. David did not need to do any of that, I can’t express how grateful I am for his understanding. It was a huge surprise to hear that persons name, and one I tried to handle with grace. People like him are what makes the world a better place....
