They close at 10:30 and lick you out at 10.
Ordered my food at 9:50 assuming I would have a nice sit down dinner after a long hard work day.
Sat down at a table with about four other tables filled in the restaurant waiting for my order.
10 o’clock rolls in and the bus boy tells me, “to go, right?” I told him I ordered it for here. He then insisted it’s going to be a to-go order because they’re closing. I asked what time they close and he mentions 10:30. I explained that it’s only 10 o’clock, so I have a solid half hour. Then he gives me a dirty look and proceeds to stack the chairs on the tables 30 minutes prior to closing. He’s obviously trying to railroad me to leave.
My food comes at 10:07 in a bag. I told the girl that I wanted it for here. She brushes me off and proceeds to just chitchat with the other girl. I say to them, “don’t do that, you have a paying customer trying to speak to you.” I have their attention at this point.
I asked her, what time is it, and then she petals backwards and asks me the same question. We go back and forth a bit and she finally admits that I have 23 minutes to eat.
So far, the bus boy gets in my face and tells me my order will be to-go 30 minutes prior to closing. Now, i’m getting disrespected from two hostesses.
The unprofessional behavior goes on for about 4 more minutes in front of the other customers as I try to explain to the two girls that I felt like I’m getting pushed out 30 minutes prior to closing.
Eventually, the girls admitted guilt and apologized to me profusely.
As I walked out the door, I heard something, but I’m not sure what was said. It could’ve been an insult for all I know.
All I was trying to establish was to have a nice quiet and peaceful sit down meal after a long hard day. The greeting at the register was very pleasant, so I was excited to sit down and relax and eat until this happened.

Read moreThe food is good but the customer service is the worst. The worst part is its basically the sane bad service at literally every location but the Stapleton location. They just have no sence of customer service . Things that should be simple easy requests aren't to them. Personally I hate flats when I get wings so no matter where I go for wings I always request drums only. And every restraunt acomidates this request because as a customer it's what I want. And I'm confident I'm not the only person who requests this. None the less this is now the second location that makes a hudge deal out of this request and refuses to accommodate such a simple requests. They say they just can't specialy only give drums. When they can it's as simple as don't add flats to the order. If I'm paying why is that so hard. I personally think it's rude and shows they simply don't care for their customers. To me ofcourse I eat with taste but first I spent my money for my experience and everytime no matter if it's this simple requests they just treat their customers poorly. They are short with conversations. They overall just don't seem to care if you come back or not ultimately you are a customers they don't care if you return. That said today was my last time going to any bonchon. Which I'm constantly ordering for my clients or my staff for staff meetings or my large family. I just can't support a buisiness that's so simple minded and that treats customers poorly. Read moreI am sorry, I hardly ever give bad reviews, but this is not Korean Fried Chicken! Way over rated...This was our first time visiting a Bonchon and definitely the last! Very disappointed, the chicken was at best a BELOW AVERAGE fried chicken (even KFC is way better!! That says a lot), and it was nowhere near where a Korean Fried Chicken should be. Frankly, it is giving the Korean food a bad name! I cannot understand how this is a very famous chain restaurant!! How??! We purchased ~$60.00 worth of chicken, and all we got was some soggy stuff with a little patches of sauce on it.... It is fair to say, that the young lady at the front who brought the food out to the car was VERY polite, pleasant, sweet, friendly and courteous. GREAT customer service, and GREAT over the phone. But that was all her, not sure if the rest are the same, perhaps they are. My issue, which is a very big one, was the food, very disappointed.
Adding: We just got the Manager's respond to my wife's disappointment. Wow, very classy! "Plain" and simple...See the picture attached. P.s. You DO NOT have the best KFC, and we now also know how your actual customer service is, Jeff, you were correct, they are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! With the exception of the sweet young lady at the front. You don't deserve her.
