I went in last night with my husband and 2 children. I went in because I have some holiday shopping to do and we'll I can't leave my kids at home alone. My 2 yr old was having a fit. Didn't want to sit in the cart and was just being a hot mess, to be honest. I was super frustrated, but as most parents know, that's just how kids, especially toddlers are. I was after her and trying to distract her and put things back to not make a bigger mess for them. Yet I got constant shamefull looks, people rolling their eyes, and was watched like i was going to steel something. All of this from employees. I ended up taking her outside and waited for my husband. I understand that you guys were frustrated, but I can assure you I was 100% more frustrated, embarrassed, and running on fumes. Being a parent isn't easy, but you guys acting that way is just plain rude and mean have a little compassion. I more than anyone would have love for her to behave and calm down, but that's not always so easy. the shaming was...
Read moreEvery time I walk into a "Ross Dress For Less" I regret it. They generally have a a handful of "okay"low priced miscellaneous home accessories scattered throughout the cluttered store. This Ross was no different. Tj Max/Home Goods, even Marshall's has a lot more variety and value. My largest problem with Ross is the absurd level of "anti theft deterents", especially in affluent districts in metro Denver area, The fluorescent lighting is extremely bright shining down as you walk under several dozen security cameras, pushing a tiny blue cart with a tall pole attached so that one can't push the cart out the front door I guess?!! Then the over zealous security guard in uniform that follows you around their empty store while you wait for your wife. Honestly, they sell cheap second hand clothes, dirty pillows, and plastic pasta strainers.. how often do people try to fill these carts and "make a run for it"?!! My last time walking into a "Ross...

The clerk said that she would keep the item for me. 1 min later I found my debit in my back pocket, then I immediately returned to the store and check-out. The same cashier acknowledged that I was there and waiting for her to complete a transaction with the other customer. I was standing there for about 10 minutes and thought that she would take care of my transaction thereafter. NOPE! she left without saying anything to me. I was shocked about this incident because I have never ever come across anything like this. It's bad enough that even my 5 year-old daughter said that she don't want to...
