Attempting to get my s9 screen replaced. Wasted my time 3 different times. First, I made an appt online 1 week ahead of time. I receive no confirmation of any kind until the day before I received a text message confirming my appt. I go in, right on time. There's two girls working, one of which doesnt know much of what it is going on. I talk to the other to find out that she remembered having the conversation about my phone, but that they never actually ordered it. So attempt #2, I called and asked if they had the screen and the back glass. The gentleman (that I assumed was the owner/manager) said that my screen had just arrived and he assured me that the back glass would be there by time I got there. I arrived about 1.5 hours later to find out that the back glass was not there yet. He installed the front screen for $270. He did a very nice job on the install - clean and works well. I left without the back glass. Went home and ordered my own. When it arrived, I didnt feel comfortable with installing it myself so I called iRepair to see if my back glass was there. It was, so I went in right when they were supposed open at 10:00AM. I arrived at 10:02. Doors locked and the same younger girl giving me excuses that the manager was running late with the keys because she wasnt feeling well. When she finally arrived, she was clearly feeling fine freshly out of the shower. I go in to get the back glass installed....wrong back glass. They ordered the one for the s9+ which is far too large. I told them that I had one in my truck because I had no intention of coming back. They installed my glass for no additional charge - other than my time.
Only reason they are getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were polite, didnt try to charge me for the installation of the back glass and the front screen install seems to have been done well.
Overall - next time I break a screen, which I will, I will absolutely pay more to go...
Read morePlease be careful with this place. I went back the next day after a repair because a new issue showed up right after his work. As soon as I walked in, the guy recognized me and immediately said, in a very unfriendly tone, that he wasn't going to take responsibility and that i'd have to pay full price for another repair.
When I tried to explain that the problem only started after he worked on my phone, he cut me off and raised his voice several times. We calmly asked what might have caused it if it wasn't his initial repair, his only response was basically, "I don't know, but it's not my problem".
the whole experience felt rued and very unprofessional. If you don't want to deal with paying to be yelled at, please avoid this place.
Updated 10/16/25 - I don't usually spend time on these type of things but I felt like I had to when I saw the below response that twisted the facts and attacked a reviewer personally. I didn't mention in my first review that I tipped him and also purchased another service he offered during my first visit just to be nice although I didn't really need it. I also didn't mention that he did offer us a discount on my 2nd visit by trying to return my tip - LOL. We asked calmly what he thought the problem could be that caused the new issue he just started to raise his voice and yell at us. At that point we just walked out and didn't want to do business or waste our time with such a rude person. but his response below has made this to go from an awful customer experience to lying and being dishonest.
I also wanted to share that we ended up using a mobile service (Cleveland Iphone Repair) and had a great experience having the phone fixed at a more reasonable price and enjoyed...

I still use the XR daily to play one word game that happens to work better on older iPhones, and that's pretty much all I do with it. Unfortunately, not only was the battery maximum capacity low, but I also accidentally cracked the screen a few years ago by dropping it down some concrete stairs. I have always believed that a screen replacement would cost more than what the phone was even worth, so I never bothered to get the crack fixed.
