From my phone call asking about COVID restrictions to the after-store and experience this team sure “ran the distance” for me.

I’m a beginner runner with a little bit of knowledge from magazines, internet, and tri-team members & friends who are runners. With less than 100 miles of experience running over the last 6 weeks I have a little bit of data specific to my running experience and a whole lot of questions.

Lizzie was AMAZING! She took the time to listen to my questions and engage with me finding a solution like a best friend rather than a sales person. I never felt like a “beginner” runner, I just felt a part of the running community because of her warm welcome, encouragement & and excitement to hear about me doing my first triathlon later this year.

I left with more than compression sleeves, socks & shoes. I left with confidence to run & a pocket full of runners resources like apps, playlists, info about workshops coming up.

Love Jill at Runners Roost! I began running in 2014 when I started my journey to lose my last 10 "vanity pounds". I started to experience the every day running issues; IT band, plantar fasciitis, etc. I was hesitant about going to Runners Roost. I was afraid a bunch of elite, seasoned runners would not be interested in a newbie runner like me. I could not have been more wrong! I met Jill Parker on my first visit and Jill spent 30 minutes discussing appropriate shoes with me and invited me to join the Walk to Run program. Walk to Run opened up a whole new world to me. Jill, Lisa, Bill, and several other team members at Runners Roost plus all the volunteers are amazing, inspiring, people. If you are going to go to this location stay away from sales rep Brandon. First of all, he started off the conversation with telling me that I won’t be able to find any shoes unless I’m willing to pay more money. He doesn’t ask me what I like or what bothers me with my shoes he just grabs random shoes for me to try on and doesn’t even bring my size. I finally find a pair to which he had to order then he calls me three days later to tell me that they were unable to actually place the order. My card was charged for almost $300 for shoes that I was not able to get. I go back into the store so that he can issue me a refund he never once apologized or even explained what the mishap was about. I will never waste my time nor recommend any of my friends or family to go to this...
