Spencer's — Local services in Aurora

Spencers hasn't changed much in the last decade or more, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

However, at this location, the vocal political opinions of the employees behind the register caught me off guard (about some Independence Day merch). Now, I am not saying I disagreed with the sentiments they shared and spoke at us as we smiled and nodded, but I was very uncomfortable. I’ve been going to the aurora mall every once in a while since like 2015. I’m 21 now. I love Spencer’s but every single time I go here, this short white girl accuses me of stealing. She’s literally chased me out of the store 4 times since I was 16 saying that I need to “give back the merchandise I stole”, then when I tell her I put something back she makes me go back in the store and find it. I don’t steal. She’s stopped me when with friends, Xmas shopping, and shopping with my boyfriend. Every other Spencer’s I’ve been to is great but I think this chick needs to be fired. Some store items like the hats in the front I kicked as they were on the floor. I had no idea until I kicked them. Some restocking was going. I did feel like a fool when looking for tongue rings in the displays that were not near the clerks desk. Once I found them, I felt like I was invading the guys who were pulling stock out of boxes space.
