Adult Megaplex — Local services in Austin

So tonight I went 2 Megaplex with a friend of mine we decided to smoke a cigarette before we walked inside and an employee proceeds to come out and tell us that we need to either come inside or leave that we only have 5 minutes in the parking lot otherwise we had to come in or we had to leave so this gentleman decided to tell us that we either have to come in or we had to leave and we didn't have time for us to smoke a cigarette there was nobody else in the parking lot and then said that this was store policy. so I proceeded to tell him that your store policy is stupid how to say you mean to tell me that I don't have the freedom to sit here and smoke a cigarette before I come in and buy something is it don't get mad at me I just work here in that store policy. So we asked him I'm not allowed to smoke a cigarette before I come in and he proceeds to tell me that we have 5 to 8 minutes and we need to either come in or leave. I don't know what makes you think that an employee can tell customers that they don't have the freedom to smoke a cigarette before they come into an establishment and we were smoking right next to the ashtray on the way in the door. I would fire that employee immediately and train customer...

Customer service here sucks. They don’t train there employees right. Megaplexxx this was my first time coming in and last time. The two girls working up front one was big Mexican lady and the other was a white lady. While looking around in the store I stop at a section I’m interested in. I take my time to look because if I’m going to spend 80$ on something I need to do my research. So while standing there just looking at the items the big Mexican lady come right up by me and my boyfriend and says excuse me and just looks at all the merchandise for good min like she was counting it idk it was very very odd. She made me feel very uncomfortable and at point I wanted to leave but my bf didn’t of course so I get my item and then go to another spot. Well Low and behold the white lady comes up. I felt like I was being followed. Not cool at all Megaplexxx. Train your employees better because I will not be returning to your store. Then when I leave I look at counter they have cameras every damn area. So if you ladies wanted to watch us why not do it from the cameras. You went out of your way to make me and my bf feel u comfortable. I don’t reccommend this place unless you want to be treated...

Let me talk about the level of discomfort I felt in this establishment tonight. I'm very comfortable and open with my sexuality, so Megaplex is little more than a sex themed Best Buy to me. However, tonight I was not only followed around the store, the security guard brought a dog through the store as if to detect if I or anyone else there had drugs on them. First of all, it wasn't an actual cop. We're talking Top Gun "Top Flight Security of the World" flashlight cops. Secondly, why would you want to make patrons uncomfortable? Even if you found weed on me, I'd tell you to leave me alone then leave...what was he going to do? Put his hands on me and get dropped? When I finally checked out it was unprofessional and the clerk just tossed the product on the counter by the door.
