I am a regular (2-3 visits a week) a this location and have been for the 2.5 yrs I've lived across the street. I used to give this place 5 stars, but that was with a completely different set of employees who had a different code of conduct and sense of work ethic. This place is horrible now. Slowest service EVER. I ordered one item (sopapillas) and after 15 minutes of waiting and seeing people who ordered AFTER me get their food first, I started getting mad. Turns out the people after me were friends with the one and only person there who was actually working, so naturally THEIR food was made first. At this point they noticed I was mad and assured me they were "about to start" making my order. To find out that they not only hadn't started it but actually fixed up full on meals for the people after me REALLY made me upset. I definitely feel like if I wasn't the whitest looking person on this planet, or at least if I was friends with the employees, that I would have been treated MUCH differently. It took 23 minutes to make a single order of sopapillas, but the FAMILY that ordered $30 worth of food after me and the couple who got 2 orders of fajitas after me ALL got their food made and given to them before mine was even started. I lost count after 5 cars went through the drive-thru during this time period. I LOVE Taco Cabana. I USED to love this location. However in the last few months I have definitely seen a complete 180 in regards to customer service (ALWAYS slow, being treated poorly like tonight, etc.), quality of food (it's always cold and my order is ALWAYS missing something), and there always seems to be multiple people behind the counter talking and joking around while only one person is forced to contend with all the customers inside and at the drive-thru. I'll give them one more chance, but I don't have much faith anything will change anytime soon. I would much rather go to the Taco Cabana several miles away or even Taco Bell than this location if this is how they treat their...

When we ordered at 736 and the order confirmation said our food would be ready at 751. At 753 we went in and they had not even started our order yet. After an hour of waiting we finally got our order. Literally, it was 8:42!! When we looked to check our order, not a single thing was made correctly. So we had to go in and have them remake everything. Because of the hassle the manager told us to keep everything so it didn't go to waste. The other guy proceeded to take our incorrect order and trash it seconds after the manager telling us to keep it. We told him we were told by the manager to keep it but he said no and took it anyway. While we were waiting for our, one of the cashiers refused to take an order typed on a phone from a handicap person. Read moreWorst Taco Cabana I've ever been to. Walked up to door to a sign that says "dining room for online orders only" so we go back out to the car and place our order online. We then go back and open the door to a 6 ft shelf blocking the door. The kid at the drive thru just stares at us and starts wagging his finger like you would to a child. We holler to him across the store "we ordered online" he finally walks up to us and tells us it's drive thru only. My MIL asks if she could at least use the restroom and he tells her no. I understand that they're understaffed but if it was drive thru only, why didn't those signs say that instead of online only. Not to mention, there were people inside eating in the dining room, so why couldn't we at least use the restroom?? When we finally got our food, it was missing multiple items, including items that we payed extra for. TL; DR Awful service and understaffed.
