Happy Cooking — Local services in Austin

10/10, no notes. Happy Cooking helped us host a 17-person seated dinner and they knocked it out of the park. The food was incredible & the service was next level. Everything was taken care of end-to-end – from a curated menu adapted for a variety of guest allergens/preferences, plates & silverware rentals to custom designed menus for the place setting. Communication leading up to the party was excellent, and day-of service was perfect. Chef Tony & his crew were punctual, professional & kind. Beyond all of this, two things I really appreciated it:

The "small" things - The crew knows how to host a party and did the most, no questions asked. For example, we had dinner rolls and cookies that we provided outside of their service, and they still made sure they were warmed and served for our guests. The kitchen was in better condition when they left then when they arrived, and we were even surprised to see some leftovers packed up in the fridge.

The booking process - This was SEAMLESS. You can see availability clearly on the website, and the pricing is super transparent. Everything is customizable, but in a really approachable way. As someone who loves to cook and host, I usually take on way too much and end up feeling stressed trying to manage everything. But Happy Cooking ATX completely changed that for me. For once, I felt fully present with my friends because Tony and Ashley handled every single detail seamlessly.

Not once did they ask me where something was. They came prepared, were incredibly efficient, and even packed up our leftovers beautifully. The food was thoughtful, delicious, and beautifully plated. It truly felt like restaurant-quality, but with all the warmth of a dinner party at home.

They also added such a personal touch to the night by organizing a few fun games between the courses, which made it even more special for our group. It felt like we were celebrating something even though it was just a regular night in!

Tony and Ashley, the husband and wife duo behind Happy Cooking, are such kind and genuine people. It is so inspiring to see people doing what they love and doing it so well. I cannot wait to book them again for a birthday, bachelorette, or honestly just another excuse to gather and eat amazing food with friends👏

Each dish was a work of art, with thoughtful touches that showed their commitment to both taste and aesthetic.

The service was equally impressive. The team was warm, attentive, and efficient, seamlessly managing the flow of the event while making every guest feel taken care of. It’s rare to find a caterer that nails both hospitality and high-end cuisine so perfectly, but Happy Cooking exceeded every expectation!
