first time being here, came during a slow time I assume. I sat at the bar, the bartender was in a long conversation with a patron (being in the industry myself I get this can be hard to break away from) but as the conversation ended I was not acknowledged or even greeted and sat at the bar with no drink for almost 20 minutes. another bartender came behind the bar along with him and I had to ask the new bartender if I could please order. the first bartender was standing talking with the other patrons and taking a shot with them. I being in the industry myself would immediately see this as a tip killer, luckily I always leave 20% minimum. worst experience i’ve had in a very very long while, i’m not very hard to please. not even being able to get a beer during a obviously slow time made it...

The front page is straight up dope. It’s a neighborhood bar that shows you what Austin Is all about. Go in there and order yourself a jellyfish and some pretzel bites and Queso. Still hungry? Their brisket and cheese for him, and the turkey Cesar for her will leave you both full and wanting more food. Not because you’re hungry, because you can’t remember a bar food bite so original and authentic. Their outside seating is cool and sun blocked. Their bartenders are friendly faces and the vibe is chill but social. It's a very understanding place. Don’t be surprised if the place is packed with trivia on a weekday, and/or improv during the week, or if you might be lucky enough like me to enjoy the quick bite and dash back to the family. It’s def worth the trip to see...

If you're in Austin, Texas, and looking for a great spot to grab a bite and a drink, you can't go wrong with The Front Page. Tucked away, this cozy bar is a hidden gem that you shouldn't miss. The sandwiches are simply delicious and a perfect complement to the extensive selection of beers and cocktails. But what really sets this place apart is the amazing staff. The bartenders are some of the best in town with a wealth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to crafting the perfect drink. And even better, they're always happy to chat and make you feel right at home. Drew is exceptionally easy on the eyes as well!

Overall, The Front Page is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a low-key and welcoming spot to unwind with friends. Don't miss out on...

The Front Page is a tucked away gem off Springdale in the Springdale General Complex. The menu is stacked with sandwiches and salads, offering soup seasonally. You can order a generously sized side salad (photo included) and plain cheesy bread for $11, a steal in this town. The sandwiches come in a variety if sizes / breads. The ranch is zesty and great with the cheesy bread. The staff is friendly and the food comes out at a good pace. There is a trivia hosted on Wednesday evening at 8 pm on the dog friendly patio. The host is great and there is usually a good crowd but enough space to grab a table. Good spot for a group too. Conveniently located near ABP for a pre or post climb bite!

Stopped by The Front Page (TFP) for lunch after picking up out-of-town guests at the airport. What a cool place ...! You order at the bar, and they bring your food out when its ready. Salads and sandwiches mostly, so we tried one of each. The Greek Salad was very good, nice dressing served on the side. Ample salad for two to share. After a bit of conversation with the bartender we choose the traditional Italian sandwich. A nice-sized sammy, perfect to split for two. The bread was very fresh, and there was a good-sized portion of Italian meats and cheese. We liked TFP and would go back to try other things on the menu. Recommend TFP for a good salad, sandwich or combo!
