Homesense — Local services in Austin

I visited Homesense last night to browse their impressive selection of rugs. A few caught my eye, but I wanted to take my time deciding, so I took photos and went home to think it over. This morning, I returned to purchase the rug I’d chosen, which was originally priced at $299 and marked down to $249. At first, I couldn’t find it, but Gabby, Beatrice, and Jose were so kind and stopped what they were doing to help me. Worst retail experience in my life. Great choices in furniture and decor; but the cashier section is straight of a comedy/horror movie. The cashier rang up the item 3 extra times and couldn’t figure out how to take them off. After about 15 minutes of holding up the line, she said she couldn’t fix it and would have to wait for the manager (whereabouts unknown). At this point, we said no thanks and left the store. This was my first time to this store. It’s pretty nice. Amber was an incredible help today. I went in twice and had the pleasure of interacting with her both times. I had never heard of this store before, she told me all about it and was very kind answering all my questions. She even helped me out by telling me my TJ MAXX credit card could be used at Home Sense as well. The store was cute and decently organized. She brought a little joy to my day and I look forward to...
