Okay, so I went to Lane Bryant off of LA Frontera BLVD., and it was one of the worst experiences I have had with the company (I have only had 3 issues). I was not greeted by staff when I first walked in. I couldn't find anyone around that could help assist in items on higher shelves or answer questions about clothing. When I was able to find someone, they acted like I was bothering them and rudly asked me what I needed. Let's just say I will NOT be returning to that location EVER again!
However, the Lakeline Location was much better suited to me! I was greeted by warmly by miss Sasha as soon as I came through the doors. She asked me what I was in for, and it took me straight to the rack I needed. I was looking for an everyday, comfortable bra with NO underwires. She knew EXACTLY the style I needed. I was a little skeptical about how the fabric looked, and it didn't look all that comfortable from first glance. She takes me to a fitting room, and I try on the bra. I was right. The bra was uncomfortable, and I had issues getting the bra clasped. I had to leave my dressing room and call out to Sasha at the entrance to the fitting rooms. When she came over, I explained that the bra straps felt tight on my shoulders and I couldn't get the bra closed. She knew EXACTLY what I needed. I needed to go up a band size. So, back to the fitting rooms I go. I get the bra on, and it feels and fits so comfortably! As I came out of the dressing rooms, I was elated to have finally found a bra comfortable for my adult body. Last time I bought a bra, I was in my late 20s. Then, I just wore sports bras. But they don't do justice to any daytime outfit. Anyway, as I am coming out of the dressing rooms, I decided I was going to pick up their 5 Pais of underwear for $35. I love this deal! I got 10 pairs of underwear. I thought, why stop there, I am enjoying myself and my helper. So, I am on the hunt for everyday type of tees. I ended up finding 2 shirts. By the time I got up to the counter I could barely contain my excitement. While waiting for Sasha to finish up with her customer, Diana came out of the back office to help ring me up. This woman was a blessing for helping to get the prices on the underwear to ring up like they were supposed to. The system, for whatever reason, decided that every pair of undies I was getting was like $13.50. Diana, patiently input the prices one by one for each pair. By the time it was time for me to pay, I was feeling like I accomplished more than I set out to do, and thus made me feel good about myself. The manager had a nasty attitude and attempted to transfer me to wherever she could. I told her I returned the item on the 9th of October and that I never received a refund. She stated she could not help me without trying. I asked her to look up the transaction using the membership number but she refused. She proceeded to give me the incorrect phone number to the Lane Bryant credit card department although she knew and was told I used my bank card. I also informed her that I did not have a Lane Bryant credit card. Furthermore, I believe one of them pocketed my refund because I looked at the receipt and it does not include my card number anywhere on the receipt as the place of refund. Read moreI’ve shopped here for years and had some good salespeople, but after today — IF I ever buy from them again, I will go to any other location but this one. I needed to return some items & didn’t have all of my online purchase receipts (which normally isn’t a problem since they can look them up in their system), but the manager was very rude when she couldn’t find 2 of the items, insisting that she needed to put my items back into her inventory. I told her that I just wanted to take them back and check my receipts at home, but I felt badgered into leaving my items there.
