Stepping into Le Labo Austin feels less like walking into a retail shop and more like entering a carefully considered atelier. The space is raw yet refined—distressed walls, warm wood floors, and industrial fixtures that create a setting where each fragrance and object feels curated rather than displayed. It’s an environment that invites pause, encouraging you to slow down and experience scent as something deeply personal. What elevated my visit, however, was the service. Courtney and Austin approached every interaction with sincerity, offering insight into oils, candles, and blends without ever making it feel transactional. Their knowledge was impressive, but more than that, they listened—guiding me toward new scents that matched what I didn’t even know I was seeking. That kind of connection is rare in luxury retail, where the focus can too often be on selling rather than sharing. Here, the exchange felt more like a conversation, an exploration of craft and individuality. The store itself is beautifully kept—minimal yet character-rich, with thoughtful touches like the working sink and antique-style counters that nod to Le Labo’s apothecary roots. Even the act of packaging feels ceremonial, reinforcing the sense that each item is made for you, not just for the shelf. I left with new discoveries in both fragrance and ritual, grateful for an experience that felt equal parts personal and elevated. Le Labo Austin is a destination not just for scents, but for connection.

I finally made it out here to sample the collection in person. Santal 33 was by far my favorite scent with its sweet profile lingering with integrity even after a few hours. Oud is also terrific but I didn’t cop this time around. Still debating whether to trend with more than one scent per season. I also brought home the Palo Santo 14 candle which at first did not smell at all but kicked in only after a couple of 3hr burns. All in all very satisfied with the products. If you check the website, they sell city editions of the scents like once or maybe twice a year.

We found out about this perfume brand online and were really curious to finally smell their fragrances in person. The store itself is nice, but the prices felt noticeably higher than what you’d pay if you ordered online or bought from other retailers that carry the same brand. What really threw us off, though, was the fact that even their small samples cost over $8, and they don’t offer any free samples at all. I honestly don’t get it. Is that the brand’s policy or just this particular store? Either way, it felt off. We left kind of disappointed

It was my fist time stepping into the store. I really liked how I was greeted and introduced to this heavenly store. I bought 2 bottles of perfume, and they even customized the labels for me. I loved it. Jason was the one that helped me. I’m not going to lie, he was the one that kept me to the store and also the reason for me to go back. I know he can definitely help with gift ideas! I also bought a diffuser that the wood base of it was obtained from the exterior of a water tank in NY, so unique that each piece is different. It almost feels like it has its own story to tell. The store is tastefully decorated and almost everything is an antique. I would definitely bring friends back for a fun hangout! Jason, thank you so much for introducing & guiding me through everything! We even got the diffuser warranty registered at the store! I had such a great experience with the...

I made a special 2 hour trip to the store because buying online vs in store are two very different experiences. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and may be back soon to purchase a city exclusive while it's here! Leslie was such a gem and helped me understand the store as I'm pretty new to the niche world. I don't remember the other young womans name working there yesterday but she was a sweetheart as well. The fragrances are alot different from what I'm used to but I love the idea of such unique and beautifully blended scents. They picked the perfect location for the store as the whole area makes me want to consider moving cities permanently. Austin has the friendliest people and I could not have had a better experience. I purchased a discovery kit of the city exclusives and can't wait to get a good feel of this...
