I went in for a simple return that was split between a gift card and a credit card. I was told the total amount, including what was charged to my credit card, would be refunded to a gift card even though the receipt says otherwise. I pointed this out to the employee who again said it would all go on the gift card. After some back and forth, she finally asked someone else and figured out how to do it. Next, she processed the return and said the gift card would be emailed to me. I walked out of the store to check since I had no service in store and never got the email. I came back to ask for a physical gift card and she said they couldn’t give me one. She couldn’t figure out how to get me my gift card and ended up calling customer service which took 30+ minutes. I told her I needed to be home soon and ended up leaving the store without the gift card which was for over $200. I ended up getting it later that day from customer service so that’s why I put 2 stars. I could tell she was stressed and I wasn’t trying to make it worse, but it seems like they don’t properly train their employees here. The worst part is none of the other employees were helping. They just kept avoiding eye contact. I was there for 45 minutes for a simple return. I live on the south side but will be going to the domain next time. Horrible...

I genuinely don’t understand how this brand plans to survive. Either they’ll go bankrupt or end up selling off their stock at some sketchy outlet store in middle-of-nowhere America. My first experience as a customer was honestly terrible.
They promised a $24 welcome gift with my first order. What did I receive instead? A cheap pharmacy sample. Naturally, I reached out to customer service, expecting some sort of solution. What I got was a moody teenager-level response, basically saying, “You’ll get the benefit if we feel like it—otherwise, too bad.” Not joking.
After several long, frustrating emails with what is clearly an underpaid and poorly trained support team, I finally got a $25 discount. I used it to purchase a product that cost over $100. You’d think they’d ship it quickly or care about the experience after all that? Spoiler: they didn’t. Despite supposedly being on their “A-List” with extra perks, my order is arriving on the last possible day within the delivery window (5 business days).
Nothing about this brand screams premium—don’t be fooled by the marketing. Alo talks like a luxury brand but acts like a second-rate outlet store. Not trustworthy and definitely not worth your...
Read moreI wish I can give no stars but unable too. The ladies at the store are super rude and refused to address an issue with my purchase and told me to contact the customer service. I contacted the customer service and did not get a response for weeks. I was finally able to catch hold of someone at the customer service and she asked me to send pictures of the product so she could give me a resolution. I did that and it’s been a month and I haven’t heard from them since then in spite of sending them repeated reminders. When I contacted the store to see if they could help me in any way, one of the ladies at the store clearly refused, used profane words, and hanged up. Alo Austin: I’m sure you guys can do much better. Such a behavior will not get you any sales. Never giving my business to Alo. It was my first Alo purchase and you guys totally ruined my experience. I finally realized that I should continue giving my business to lululemon. You cannot beat the quality and the service they provide. Most of the people wrote reviews about your staff being soo rude and now it makes all the sense to me that why your store staff and customer service is immensely horrible...
